the melina™ pant

I wear them often, but they aren’t an amazing fit. They’re just easy to style. The waist fits very big (huge gap but don’t think I could have comfortably went down a size). The seems off centered by quite a bit. I actually returned the first pair I ordered because it was so off. The second pair that came in was pretty much the same - so I think it’s a design flaw. They also make a swish noise when you walk.

Material is always so soft and nice, the size fits a little small since they are vegan leather but the pants are super flattering probably why i have 3 pairs now lol but the Melina’s are a must have pant.

I usually would size down, but considering they are "leather" i went true to size with an 8. I measured my waist and hips with a measuring tape before ordering to make sure I was getting the closest fit for my size. They showed up huge. The waist has 2 inches of extra room. They don't hug my hips at all and are way to big/baggy on the thighs too, so disappointing. AND they were on sale so i cant even return. Major fail. should have sized down 1 or 2 sizes.

This is my second pair of Melina pants. My first pair I bought 3 years ago and wear regular and they still are amazing quality and fit perfectly and last so well. My first pair are size zero and fit perfectly but these ones I sized up for a bit of a looser fit and they are a bit more loose around the waist and hips for a different look.

I have a size 26 waist and 38 hip, these pants were a struggle to get on and the waist was huge! If you don’t have a butt and some curve I’m sure these would look great. I returned mine, not worth the almost $200 it comes to

Received these pants which fit much better than the size 4 I had ordered previously. Disappointed with the fact that I’m now stuck with a black pair of size 4s but happy to have an actual pair that fits!

Fabric is smooth, fits beautifully and I love the colours (I bought three). One problem,I ordered three size 8 and was sent two size 8 and one size 6. Size6 I can’t wear

The quality is really good
For me , if I want that the pants fit me well on the legs they are large at the waist

I have the effortless pants in faux leather and wanted to expand my faux leather pant collection since aritzia makes such great quality ones… so I thought at least. These pants still feel nice but unfortunately I got them on sale and even though I ordered a larger size they still didn’t fit me (I recently had a baby but ordered my post partum size). I don’t know if it’s because of the pant style or because the sizing is inconsistent, either way I was met with disappointment. I wish Aritzia considered exchanges for final sale but now I’ll have them hanging in my closet as motivation to lose weight because I feel like a fat pos. I’m a loyal repeat aritzia customer and will continue to buy from them, I probably will prefer to try on in store first next time.

The pant quality is great but I give 3 stars for my reasonings above.

Was really nervous about ordering offline because I’ve never bought pants from here but these fit perfectly! The length and size are perfect I’m 5ft5 and 167lb, the size 10 was perfect!

These are really nice high quality leather pants. My only issue is the sizing, I’m a true size 6 and had to size up to a 10 in these pants. Just keep that in mind when ordering.

I have small waist and big butt , so u guess it depends on your figure . Definitely try before buying , I tried different color in the store to find my size .

Quality is good but i have to return because they fit so small! Im normally a size 4 and could barely even button these.

However, the fit is very odd. I’m very curvy (bright a 6 short) with a proportionally small waist compared to my hips. Waist is SNUG and hips/thighs are perfect. The leg shape is too wide (I know that’s in style but makes my legs look like Twinkies) and the “short” length on the cropped pant is surprisingly long. I assumed they would still need to be hemmed but still long for a short length crop pant. They were final sale so I’m just going to get them altered.

I want these so bad to be perfect, but they just aren’t.

Love the pants! however, I see inconsistency in sizing: they are somewhat smaller than the same model/size that I ordered about a year ago. The length is not long enough for tall girls.

Absolutely love these pants! I do find if you have a pudge like me, these pants don’t fit true to size. There’s nothing wrong with having a pudge and I’m ok with it. However, I was 180lbs and couldn’t even do up a size 16 comfortably. I was regularly a 12. Now that I’m 150lbs, I fit comfortably in a size 12 although my regular size is now a 10.

This is a really cute well made pant that doesn’t look cheap. It does, however, run small, and even the tall was to short for me at 5’9 1/2 so sadly, I had to return it.

So big. The waist for like it was a 4 but fit well everywhere else. Stupid big in the wasit

Got these in Mocha Sorbet. Purchased a size 2, measurements are 32-24.5-36. Fit perfectly honestly! A little gap in the waist as per usual because of my body type but barely noticeable so this was a success! Love the feel of these inside and out. Thought I’d have maybe a Ross Gellner moment with these but lovely to get on and off!

Soft fabric and very cute my only complaint is I should have ordered a size or 2 up as the size as very small.

These pants are amazing, love them so much as far as the fabric and feel. Super warm to wear great for winter and spring. However, the color is extremely off from what I ordered. They’re like a green brown instead of a brown brown. But still love!

This is a great pant with buttery soft fabric but runs very, very small so if you’re getting these then I recommend sizing up. For reference, I am 5’6, weigh 126. I have a short torso with long legs and narrow hips. I am almost always a size 26 or size 2. Knowing that some of their vegan leather runs a little small, I ordered a size 6 (regular) but it was too short to wear with heels and was tight across my tummy in the waist. I am ordering them in a size 8 long to see if it works. Crossing my fingers and will review the next size when I get them.

Beltloop ripped off on my first wear. For the price I expect better quality.

Amazing quality. sizing is quite small.. I am size 00 most brands, 0 would be fine although a bit roomy, but I had to size up to a size 2 on this one.

I LOVE these pants. So comfy I literally had a nap in them. Makes you look out together and feel like a boss. Only complaint is that there is a slight gape on the back but isn’t a huge issue for me

The fabric is so soft and does not wrinkle. I loved the fit. Relaxed yet not oversized. I normally wear an XS or S so I was not sure whether to order the 2 or the 0. The 2 was too big so I returned for a 0. I would recommend sizing down if you are unsure.

Beautiful faux leather. Buttery soft - ordered size 12 as recommended. I normally wear a Large in Aritzia, I have the Dynamite version of this (size 10) fit is about the same as the Aritzia size 12, but material doesn’t compare to Aritzia’s Melina!

Great fit, I bought the short version and no need to hem.

Love the quality of these pants and have a friend that they look amazing on. She’s super slim with no curves. I, however, am curvy and they looked terrible on me. They made me look huge and boxy and flattened the booty.

I find the Melinas don’t fit my body well. They either fit my thighs/butt perfect but have a huge gap in the back waist, or fit my waist but are way too tight on my thighs/butt. I tried sizing up/down and still nothing that fits

giving flood pants even in the tall version, way too tiny but still gapped at the waist? idk weird fit imo
