the ganna™ shirt jacket

The fabric feels like it will start pilling… as o was already removing stuff off the first time I wore it. The length and fitting was ok, but the sleeves were kind of short. I’m a size small and I’m 5’51/2… 127 pounds. I wish sleeves were longer.

Good quality, nice color

I find the fit true to size (xs), material is quite soft and not itchy either. Would be wearing it with long sleeve base layers anyway so not a big deal. Overall looks nice for a fall jacket. Would buy again!

I purchased this jacket two years ago and LOVED it. I wore it so so many times. Just repurchased the exact same size/color. THE SIZING IS MUCH SMALLER! Previously, the small was an oversized fit, and the sleeves were plenty long. However, this time, they barely reach my wrists even when my arms are completely relaxed. For reference, I am 5' 5", 130 lbs.

Unfortunately, I ordered this item final sale since I expected the exact same garment to be the exact same... No longer recommend.

Purchased this shacket and have been shedding like a cat. It’s everywhere and it won’t stop. Hoping that this jacket doesn’t thin out like another aritzia jacket that I purchased which was made out of the same wool. Otherwise very warm and I love the fit.

i got an XS since this is an oversized fit anyway, and the length covers my butt, but whyyyy are the sleeves so short ?! i’ll raise my arms up 5in from down by my sides and it’s already above my wrists -_-
there are pockets, but the insides of it are awkwardly sewn on the inside & kind of flap around.

I bought the Ganna jacket two years ago and repurchased with the sale and it’s not the same. I ordered a xxsmall, just like the one I have and it’s way too small. Don’t understand how the sizing can change that much

I have this shacket in three different colors all in XS, purchased last year and a couple years before. Just bought the same size the other day, and the arms are up to 2 inches shorter. Disappointed as it was a final sale. Size up!

An absolute staple just wish it was lined for warmth!

I love this jacket! It is so beautiful and can be dressed up or down. I am 5’11 and 170lbs. I have a medium and it fits perfectly how I like it. Definitely oversized

On sale for $50 but I had to say "No" in the store because it is piling a lot. Also, material picks up other threads so if you have pets then u will not like it. Quality is really bad. Like I had to keep picking on the threads. Sincerely from a girl who likes "polish" look.

I had a Ganna from a few years ago but wanted the short version so it fit better. This new one is much thinner than my last Ganna, much more of a shirt than a jacket even for spring/fall. If it weren't final sale I'd return it. I wouldn't even consider it worth the $50 it's on sale for.

I bought my mom one of these coats a couple years ago for xmas and it was such great quality. It still looks flawless.
So when I noticed they were on sale, I got myself the Heather grey one just this week, and it arrived covered in balls of wool and a few loose threads. Thankful that it was atleast on sale. But pretty disappointed in the decline of quality.

A friend of mine had this jacket and I borrowed it one night and just loved it! I wanted it in black with black buttons. I ordered it and it arrived with brown/tortoise buttons. I went back and forth with at least 3 different customer service reps and they could not figure it out. I kept having to follow up with them. I told them I just wanted to exchange the one I had for one that matched the product pictures online - black jacket with black buttons! Ultimately noone could help me so I returned it. I re-ordered it and figured I might have a chance of getting it with the buttons as shown online. No luck. I am now in the process of trying to find buttons to replace myself. It has been way hard than I expected! I wish I could return it at this point. Super frustrating.

Returned - pilling and tiny sized compared to same size previously purchased.

The seam on the arm split open my second time wearing this today (I was literally just putting it on when it happened…no crazy activities or anything). It’s also significantly pilling, considering the price and the fact that I’ve worn it twice. I was able to fix the seam (thank the Lord for a mom who taught me how to sew), but I really shouldn’t have had to do that on a $200 jacket…
Otherwise, it’s cute and warm. Definitely unimpressed with the quality, though, considering the price.

I am 5’3 and ordered the short length and I regret cutting off the tags and wearing it as the sleeves are too shorts and the fabric has pilled so much after only a few wears. I love the style and if the quality was better I probably would have reordered it in the regular length

Returned because the wool was so cheap looking. Almost patchy in areas. Bought it a little large so I could wear it over things, but it was much too big.

Definitely size down! I’m usually a medium-large but I ordered the large and it was way too big. I had to exchange and get the small

I ordered the short version in a size small and it is way too long. It sits so weird on my body and just looks disproportionate. Plus the material is way thinner and it’s already pilling????

Oversized so do not be afraid to size down. Great item

got myself the short version as i am 5’2 and half. by reading the reviews i sized down because i didn’t want an over sized look. I got XS and it fits perfect in length just covers the behind but the arms are just a tad short which isn’t a problem if i wear a long sleeve and gloves but definitely wasn’t expecting it to be small as i read reviews to size down. still love it. been wanting this jacket forever

Arms a wee too short but love this jacket. Tried the tall but was swimming in it. Its lovely, soft, warm and stylish. Have been waiting for the sale. Glad to finally grab one.

It’s nice but pills and sheds So it’s difficult to wear with black pants clothes

I’m 5’3 and short length looks best on me. I got a size small and it’s slight oversized but that’s what I wanted.

The good:
I got the Ganna coat in copper red and I loved the colour! The buttons are reinforced and the stitching is straight. It's warm enough in 10 C weather when you layer up with a sweater so it's perfect for transitioning into fall or out of spring. I get tons of compliments on this jacket as well.

The bad:
It's kind of weirdly shaped, especially when buttoned. Almost like there is too much material within each panel. This makes it drape and stick out in places. When I wear it, the bottom hem in the front sticks out and the two high points on the side stick out as well. Sometimes the bottom hem of the back sticks out like a duck tail. That being said, it looks okay when you leave it unbuttoned!

It is also only partially lined, with lining covering the high contact areas only. So it might be itchy on the arms if you aren't wearing long sleeves.

Lastly, pilling might be a problem. I got this coat about a month ago and I'm starting to see pilling on the inside, especially on the lower back and the pocket areas.

Overall, it's a good choice for a fall shacket, but I got this with a massive discount and don't know if I would buy this at full price.

This is a great staple for any wardrobe. It fits oversized so definitely size down. For reference I am usually a M in Aritzia sweaters/ tops and ordered an XS is the Ganna. It fits perfectly with room for a sweater underneath. My only complaint is it pilled badly after only 1 wear.

Great Jacket, can dress up or down. Not too thick to wear indoors on cool days.

This Shacket is a go to in my closet. This is the 2nd colour I’ve purchase because they are just the perfect staple piece for every wardrobe! It also probably won’t be my last LOL it is perfectly oversized & cozy for fall

I love the ganna jacket , they are very warm and comfy and they don’t feel itchy. They’re actually really soft ,they do run a bit big so I size down from the usual size small I got the extra small one and this time I got a double extra small and it fits a lot better . fit perfect and the quality is great so I’m in love with this dark red colour jacket

The length on the sides is very short in comparison to the from and the back which makes it look super cheap

Amazing quality and fit. I am size 8 , I have this jacket in medium but I found it quite large. I still love it for casual wear . I decided to purchase this second one in size small for a more fitted look and it’s still roomy for a layer or two but fits amazing. They are also warm and travel well because you can match it with any outfit.

Size down a size, very nice shirt jacket, great for daily errands.

Ordered the XS and XXS and they fit the exact same. Kept the XS. Feels like nice quality and hope that it will last.

My first jacket was my ABSOLUTE favorite. Wore it often but I misplaced it. I got a new one exact same color-rustical brown. Nothing but pilling all over the coat. My last one never pilled anywhere. I wish I can return or find my old jacket. Pilling is so annoying for such an expensive coat-never washed!

This is my second Herring Bone Colour Ganna Jacket. I bought one 4-5 yrs ago. I have a green one and the leather one too. But this colour and 100 % Merino wool, I could wear everyday in the fall and winter. Cozy, can dress it up or down.

Runs slightly big. Ordered one size down and fits perfectly.

I was VERY happily surprised that the size small fit me. I’m normally a medium or large on top. I was concerned because the Sizing Chart made it sound quite small but I’d already ordered it before I check the chart. Beautiful soft boiled wool. The blue colour is exactly what I imagined, can be dressed for spring and fall. Not insulated so it’s very comfy to wear inside as just a sweater. For size reference I’m 5’9” 150lbs.
