the ganna™ shirt jacket

I ordered the “short” as I’m 5’3” . The length was fine, but the sleeves were too short, and I have short arms.
If an item is shorter in sleeves and length, then I would expect the description to be “petite”.

I had sat on this purchase for quite some time given the cost of the item but I am glad I went ahead. It is very warm, light weight and comes in so many colours. My only complaint is the side pockets. These are not sewn into the jacket and with the absence of a liner, they get a bit out of place making the jacket look bulkier around the waist.

I love this jacket! I ordered a size Large based on the fact that Aritzia clothing typically runs on the smaller side of sizing, however, this jacket runs pretty large. I definitely could've gotten a Medium and it still would've been slightly oversized on me. But, because of the type of jacket it is, it looks really good being oversized, so I didn't bother returning for a smaller size. Definitely size down if you want it to fit a bit less oversized.

Other than that, it's so soft and pliable, unlike a lot of other shackets which are too stiff around the collar and in the sleeves, which make it super uncomfortable. This is such a great spring/fall jacket and I have no regrets buying it.

I love how soft and cozy the wool is, it feels like a warm hug. You can feel the quality in the material, very thick and sturdy. The wool does pill and shed, but it doesn't bother me. I've worn this all spring, and other than the pilling, it still looks brand new. I'm normally M/L in jackets to give myself room for layering, but went with a S (regular length). It's still a bit too big, but I know XS wouldn't give me the layering space I wanted. I'm 5'1, and the longest section hits close to my knee. Definitely would have liked the short length if it was in store.

Love this jacket - depending on the time of year you wear it in can be a jacket or a light sweater

The fit is perfect, yes its a big loose, but thats what its suppose to be. I find it a perfect jacket to wear when its a bit cooler instead of a coat. its dressy if you want or its casual. Works in all my outings. I have the shirt version and the longer version. They were a good find

Super comfy, I’m 5-6 144, I could have gone with either the small or medium. I went with medium so I could fit a thicker sweater underneath. The medium fit is quite loose with just a fitted t-shirt but still super cute.

Love love love this coat! Bought one years ago and went to purchase another this year but the sleeves seem to be shorter than they once were... Super frustrating :'(

I debated getting this jacket for a little and I am so glad I got it! It runs on the bigger side but the short small fit perfectly oversized. I want to get it in more colors now!

Wearing this all spring love it so much perfect for cold/mild weather when it changes so frequently. I’m a size 14/16 and the XL fit more over sized which is perfect because I normally wear layers or hoodies underneath and I still have tons of room to move around! Don’t size up! Considering buying more colours for fall lol

Love my Ganna Jacket. It is so warm, cozy and stylish. I bought Heathered Light Grey, I'm happy with the neutral color, goes with everything. If you are debating, buy it. You won't regret it!

Pocket placement is a little odd and inconvenient sometimes. Overall, great jacket. Sleeves are perfect, if you have long arms wouldn’t recommend!

I purchased this jacket around 6 months ago and was obsessed with it. Told all my friends to buy one as well! After a winter of wearing I took to the dry cleaner to put it away clean for the summer. Upon picking up from the dry cleaner I noticed around 8 buttons were chipped and broken. The dry cleaner said they have cleaned many Ganna jackets before and never saw it. I contacted artizia to repair the buttons or exchange the jacket and they refused even though the care instructions were followed. I fee like for the price of this jacket buttons should not be breaking when following the only care instructions listed. Also the jacket pilled a lot after the VERY first use. Extremely disappointed in the quality and customer service.

Nice quality, great fit (little oversize but not too much) but it sheds a little bit. Still recommend and don’t regret buying it!

I have 2 Ganna jackets from when they first came out and love them! So I decided to purchase 2 more. The side pockets were moved, now right on the seem of the jacket so they don’t fall/hang as nicely. The cut was also not symmetrical. The bottom left and right side didn’t match and the sleeves kinda puffed out. I returned them unfortunately but loved the colours.

Nothing bad to say about this jacket !!! It does fit big though so size down !!!

I wear it all the time, goes with so many things! I sized down from my usual size and still have room for large sweaters underneath.

I love this thing. It’s cozy but I look chic with leggings. I got the long and I’m 5’8 and it’s perfect. Yes it pills a bit but it’s wool, that’s normal.

Fits great, quality is there. On trend and great look, was worried I would drown in the oversize due to height, but fits and looks great.
The jacket is pilling already which is a little disappointing, it leaves quite a bit of fuzz behind when wearing it.

I love the colour and overall fit of this, I just wish it was lined completely on the inside and not just at the neck. Fuzz gets all over your clothes because it’s not lined.

I didn’t keep it, but it’s def worth 5 stars. I exchanged this for the Ganna Quilted Jacket. It really is a beautiful color, super soft and cozy, but just not my style. The quilted one is more my aesthetic. I do think that any Ganna is worth the investment. They come in different materials, lengths and styles - just find the one that works for you!

I’m usually a solid Medium and sized down to a small in the gannq long - love it! I also have a ganna regular length and prefer this as i have a long torso.

Heather light oatmeal in XS, I’m close to 5”10 and the sleeves are a bit short but the body of the jacket fits oversized and roomy. I wouldn’t wear it with a big sweatshirt or sweater though. 4/5 stars because I’m starting to see pilling and I’ve only worn it a couple times.

Warm, great quality! Runs slightly large. I sized one size down. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. Also purchased the black one, because I love this one so much!! Goes great with leggings and jeans. Not only that, you can dress it up or dress down!

Love love love this shirt jacket. Hesitated on buying this shirt jacket because of the price but caved and bought it and I don’t regret it! Only downside is it pills like crazy. Lint gets all over my other stuff. Should be better quality for $200+. For reference, I’m 5ft 3in, 118lbs and went with an XS short and it’s just slightly oversized fit on me.

Although it fit, it was way too long, especially in the front.

I got one of the brown plaid designs and it came looking like shein quality. Loose threads and super scratchy. I got it on sale for $6 off so of course there was no refund and only a store credit :(

I am only 5 feet, 115lbs - bought the xsmall - short size, but the arms were way too short. Then ordered the xsmall regular, tried it on with a black shirt and was covered in fluff. For this price, it would be nice if the shacket was lined.

I bought this after debating it for a long time in the light oatmeal colour. I’m normally a size medium at aritzia and 5’10 and went with the Small regular length jacket. Super versatile, and just looks really cool. It’s easy to style and warm yet breathable. The wool softens up and becomes more drapey fyi.

I am very petite so to be able to find a jacket that fits my body type it’s really awesome! I ordered xxs in the short length. Very soft and great for spring/fall. Only complaint is that it has already started to pill on the inside and outside. Disappointed because it was expensive but it still looks nice. Definitely size down!

Cons: The regular is too long and looks laughably oversized, the short fits better in the body but the sleeves are too short. XS in both, 5'4" 135lbs

This jacket truly lives up to the hype! I am 5'3 and the length hits right above my knees which is super flattering. I would definitely recommend sizing down 1 size for a slightly loose fit and 2 sizes for it to be fitted. The quality is also incredibly, it’s hard to find a Marino Wool jacket that is so lightweight but still cozy and warm.

Finally us plus size gals can shop! Super cute wardrobe staple. Great transition piece for winter into spring. Ordered the Petite in 2X and its a great fit! I normally and a size 22/24 and this fit nicely!

Warm and beautiful colour (taupe) but it's so huge I got made fun of :/ I even got it in XXS short and I'm 5'4" 45kg

This I wanted to love, but it just didn’t work for me. Bought the solid black and it’s 100% merino and was soft and cozy, but just while trying it on, I noticed signs that the pilling noted in other reviews would likely be an issue. Would be better if it was fully lined too. Loved the big pockets but I bought regular length so they hit at the wrong spot for my tall frame. In the end I returned it because it just wasn’t right for me.

This shirt is thick, warm and fits perfectly. Plus it has side pockets. I absolutely love how it feels and I love that the sleeves fit my arms even with a sweater or sweatshirt. The length is perfect for me. Hides my butt but isn’t too long.

I love this jacket. I have 2 other colours. I specifically got this colour because I love grey. The colour that showed up however was more oatmeal. The display picture does not reflect the true colour.
