the ganna™ shirt jacket

It was Really cute same as in the picture can’t wait to wear it in fall/winter.

No lining inside the jacket. Need to wear a long sleeve underneath so it won’t be itchy.

Material feels rough and itchy

Cozy, autumn shirt jacket. Perfect to throw on and go whilst maintaining a put-together appearance. Can be worn to the grocery store, to work, out with friends, and basically any occasion. I got a pale yellow and am considering another colour or plaid pattern.

I was hesitant to order this because of the mixed reviews comparing the material with the original Ganna, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I love the pattern that I got! I wanted to get this two sizes down because of the loose/oversized fit, but I am glad that I sized up from 2XS to XS. The sleeve was a bit long but I just folded it once over. I do wish the material was softer, but I don't think it's too bad as long as you wear a longsleeve underneath.

Fits well, but the arms are really short, first time I’ve ordered a petite, fit is great other than the arms

The fabric feels itchy on my skin … too big for a small size ….

I love this jacket! It goes perfect with my divinity flare jumpsuit. I was worried it would be itchy but it’s not itchy or irritating to my skin at all. The arms run on the shorter side. I could’ve gotten a small but the arms would’ve been too short. It’s so perfect for fall/winter. I want another! Will wear all the time!

Purchased as a Christmas gift as my daughter loves Aritzia and it was a great deal!!

For some reason I thought it would be lined on the inside. It’s not. It’s so itchy. The material is very rough. Not even soft enough to wear a T-shirt underneath. Massive purchase regret.

It will be picky on the inside, so I would suggest wearing a long sleeve underneath

Generally the fit is good and as stated…moderately oversized, although the sleeves could be a touch longer as the end of the cuff lands at the wrist bone. The plaid fabric is beautiful in colour and soft yet slightly itchy on bare skin as most wool is and somewhat lighter or thinner than the solid coloured Ganna. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would have ordered another one in a solid blue colour however they were out if my size. I do recommend it.

It slightly small definitely get bigger size as its a jacket. It is so itchy. Had to return immediately. I had an allergic reaction after wearing it for 2 minutes.

Sleeves are way too short and there is no lining. The material is scratchy. Very disappointing

A great versatile piece to wear layered. Love the variety of colours. Fits a bit large which I like so I can wear a hoodie underneath on cold days.

This jacket feels super flimsy and is not worth it at all. The fabric feels cheap and light and itchy. I'm shocked there was no interior lining. It looks so bad. Do not recommend at all.

The fit is weird and boxy. The sleeves are too short. The material feels too light and cheap. And it’s super scratchy. Soooo disappointing. It said finale sale but if there’s any way I can return this, can you please let me know.

Bought one two years ago and that one is much better quality than the one I just bought. also the sleeves are shorter on my new one. Disappointed

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this jacket. I've been eyeing this for so long and when I saw it was on sale for half the price, I went ahead and hit the button without thinking... I'm only 5'1, so I went with a 2XS of the short version. So wrong and so disappointed! The sleeves were really short even for me. I should have gone 1 size up or probably got the regular length. Besides, the right arm feels weird as if the stitches were twisted or not sewed straight like someone is constantly dragging my arm. Really poor quality for the price (I think the one I got was definitely a defect), because even with the sale, it still cost me over $113 and I can't exchange or return it because it's final sale.

This shacket looks great, however, it really starts to pill uncontrollably. You can buy a sweater stone and it sort of helps. This item would've received 5 stars if not for the piling issue.

The material is VERY thin, has no lining so fuzzies get all over your shirt, and the sleeves are short…

I own the Ganna in the colour Chasm and what an insane difference between the two. If you are looking to switch it up and add a plaid to your collection I suggest saving your money. I wish I would have listened to the reviews.

I bought a Gana shirt jacket when you originally launched them and it is one of my most loved clothing items. I decided to purchase another one and was extremely disappointed with the quality and fit. This jacket is see through and the wool feels scratchy and lacks the beautiful weight that your old product had. The fit also seems off, the sleeve are short and the body lacks tailoring. The whole item looks cheap when on.

I have the original Ganna Jacket and I find this one is not as well made. The material is A LOT thinner than the original Ganna. As well, the sleeves a shorter than I would like.

Overall, I really like the color, I got the yellow and brown. I think I'll keep it for that reason, but feel that the price is a little high considering the quality.

Short is perfect for me because I am only 5’2. My daughter bought me a long one and short is better fitting and loose fit is the same as long ones. Do no wash in washer

The sleeves feel short on this jacket.

Quality is not worth the price even it was discounted. The shape is unexpected weird, I ironed twice didn’t help with it.

I have to agree with other reviews that the plaid version is made of thinner and rougher material than the solid color Ganna. The pockets are not wool lined either. Keep in mind the sleeves are shorter so I suggest either getting reg or tall to accommodate shorter sleeve length.

It was nice if fit a bit larger than I anticipated. I ended up returning it because of that and also that it was quite scratchy. I'm sure it's fine if you're wearing a long sleeve underneath but if I wanted to wear it with a t-shirt or tank it would be annoying.

The pockets are huge that are creating unflattering look when wearing. It doesn’t looks like it is bought from a high end brand.

Please make sure to read the material! It's not 100% merino wool like the solid colour so this is itchy as hell. It's thin, itchy, basically feels like a cheap knock off of the solid colour Ganna shackets. Completely disappointed in this.

The patterned Aritzia Gamma Shackets are very different from the plain ones. These new patterned ones are a 70% wool blend versus the original plain covered ones that are 100% merino wool. The patterned ones are much lighter, pocket not lined in wool, shorter in body length and shorter in the sleeves than the plain coloured ones. I wear an XS in the plain coloured ones but needed to exchange my patterned one for a S. Still wish I had perhaps tried the longer length version. The plain coloured ones are heavy and long enough to use as an outdoors jacket but the patterned ones seem more of an indoor weight or a should season outdoor jacket.

I have a ganna jacket from a previous season that is 100% merino wool. This jacket is TERRIBLE QUALITY. The wool percentage is lower, SO THIN and scratchy. The fit is smaller as well it isn’t relaxed at all. I can’t believe aritzia is putting such a huge price tag on such bad quality. Shame on the designers for putting something like this out and charging an arm and a leg for a crappy product. Do not get this.

I ordered the Multi Aqs/ Rch Mch Brn because I wanted to replace and update my previous Ganna shirt. I was so disappointed to find that this shirt has none of the softness of the original, it's so scratchy! You would have to wear a turtle neck because it rubs against the arms and neck. The colour is different than it appears online as well. online the brown looks very dark, in person it's more milk chocolate. The patches that look like a birch online are actually a pale pink. The quality of the wool seems very different from the original, and isn't as thick. Also the arms seem shorter?? The body fit as expected. This one was a miss and is going back
