the farrah hi-rise wide jean

I have a pair of Farrahs from a few years ago that are my favorite pair of jeans. 100% cotton, perfect rise, perfect inseam. I decided to get another wash since I love them so much and they have completely changed. The sizing is different, I had to size down 1 size and they were still too big. They were bulky in the crotch and the inseam was a good 4” longer. Really disappointed.

I absolutely love these jeans. The cut and wash are perfect. Can be worn with sneakers for a casual look or easily dressed up.

I really love these and would recommend for people above 5ft 6 but consider sizing down! I'm a 25 in the Arlo and needed a 24 in these. Still, I'm probably going to get more colours, the length and fit are perfect in my opinion.

Did not love the fit and they weren’t very high rise.

I had tried on a number of different wide leg jeans and just could find the right ones - legs were too wide, fit was too baggy, rise was too low. But these are PERFECT! Perfect fit, perfect width, perfect rise, perfect wash. Fit true to size! Although keep in mind there is no stretch in these jeans - doesn't bother new (I actually prefer it) but I know it is important to some. I would highly recommend!

I ordered these jeans because I fell in love with the colour 7 yrs bleu taboo in store. I ordered them and I'm really disappointed these are not the same. Mine came as a darker wash. The washes should be fairly consistent across. The difference is significant enough that it almost looks like a different wash? It's just darker and not the same hue of blue that I loved on the model and in store. These fit a bit larger. Im typically size 0/25 and I sized down to a size 24 and there is still slightly some give.

Super flattering! I prefer my wide-leg jeans to be snug in the hip/waist area, and I got any pair two sizes down from my usual size to achieve this.

Fits more like slim straight… definitely requires 1-2 sizes up otherwise it doesn’t look like wide leg jean at all

I bought these in the light (7 yrs) and the dark blue. The dark pair fits looser but still look great. I was waiting for the short inseam to get re-stocked but didn’t want to wait so I purchased the regular and had them hemmed about 1.5 inches. I am 5’0” for reference and 100lbs and ordered a size 23.

Nice fit, nice fabric

These jeans are comfortable, fashionable and fit well. They also seem to be well made.

Super nice style, they fit me perfectly almost a little tight on the hips but stretch a lot after the first wear. They still look good but if you want a slightly tighter and not so baggy style size down.

Probably my most worn jeans in the last year. These are so cute and super flattering, I swear they make my bum look bigger! I also love that Aritzia is starting to make pants for tall girls, but I wish they had more colours in the tall length because there is a much larger variety in the regular length and I would definitely get other colours if there was more selection. Also for reference I’m 5’9, around 125 lbs (with longer legs) and a 24 in the long length fits great. The only thing is that if they were even an inch shorter, they would be too short on me so maybe be mindful of that if you are taller than 5’9/5’10.

The jeans fit absolutely perfect everywhere except the crotch area. The seam was just too short. Colour was beautiful though!

Fits nice, good length but loose on waist line.

Fit was a bit tight through the hip and thigh area for me. I preferred a different style that I ordered.

Please note, that my review is for white jeans. I noticed that many brands have size variations among various colors of the same model. Knowing this, I ordered two sizes - 27 and 28 and 27 fits me better.

I have rectangular body type without prominent waist line so jeans feel little snug in that area but it is the same with most jeans. They, eventually, stretch a bit so feel relatively comfortable.

I like the quality of denim. It is nice and thick and holds well. No show through at all.

The length is below ankle allowing to wear no heels shoes without alteration. I ordered regular length and my height is 170 cm (5ft 7 in)

I bought the same pair of the farrah jeans last year and the quality downgraded since. I ordered the regular length, the same as the ones I already own, and they’re about 2” longer so I’m a bit disappointed. I’m 5’7 and they touch the floor.

I am so sad to be writing this review. I bought my first pair of these jeans in 3 washes about 2 years ago. At this time, the denim was thick, sturdy, the rise was perfect, and they had a button fly. I recently ordered another pair and the fabric is flimsy, has a very cheap zipper installed and there is weird extra fabric in the seat. I make selvedge denim jeans, I know quality jeans - these are not it. Very disappointed that they decided to take such a capitalistic approach in their newer run of this jean. These were my favorite jeans I have ever owned and I will never buy another pair again. ): Aritzia, please please please do not cheapen your brand. Not fair to charge the same price for way less quality jeans. Ugh.

So comfortable and flattering!

I enjoyed wearing these for the Calgary Stampede 2023 but still long for my height. I had to have them altered after bottom cuffs being ripped, because I walked around during the strong rains (even with my rubber shoes on). I mean these jeans are great, except the bottom cuffs.

Love the shape of these, love that they are 100% cotton. However, they come below the belly button - which is not really what I’m looking for in a high rise jean. Aritzia should start putting the actual rise (in inches) for pants on their website. These also run small. I liked the original Farrah’s back when they had a button fly.

I ordered short 28 inseam and it fits perfectly for my height.

I was looking for a pair of black jeans for work and thought the Black Eyeliner style would be perfect. However, the jeans were distressed at the hem and did not match the picture online. While I’m keeping them because I got them on sale, they are not work appropriate. I also had to pinch in the waist even though I ordered in my normal waist size. Short length was great for my petite size.

I’ve bought the Farrah’s several times now because I love the wide leg style and historically they’ve been really flattering. I just received the newest “black eyeliner” colorway and they have distressing and holes (even a fake tear near the hem where a shoe heel might have ripped them from dragging on the ground) which is the weirdest idea ever. If I wanted to look like my jeans have been dragging on the ground I wouldn’t have bought a brand new pair of jeans. What gives? Also the fit around the waist feels a lot baggier than previous runs. Length feels shorter, even for the regular length. Maybe they made the original length the “tall” version now?

Small waist + thick thighs makes it loose on waist and tight on legs. I don’t want to have to size up and wear a belt. I want jeans that just fit.

I’m 4”11 and got the short length. They’re still about 1 inch longer than I’d like so might need to hem but they really lengthen out my legs. I’d say they fit smaller than standard sizing. Im generally a size 25 in pants but I got a 26 and they fit very comfortably. I think a 25 would’ve been tight.

Good fit-perfect length

Waist on these runs slightly smaller than others I have tried. These jeans look really nice, but despite ordering short I still need to hem them. Why is there only a 2 inch inseam difference between regular and short? The model (5'8") is wearing regular (30in) and the short is 28in, recommended for those 5'3" and under. I'm 5"1, I expected these to be a little bit long, not past my feet.

These fit VERY small! I’m normally a 24, but decided to go with the size 26 for a more effortless look. The 27’s would’ve been a nice baggy option too. So, definitely size up 2-3 sizes for a lower more relaxed fit.

I recently purchased one of the darker washes after purchasing and loving a lighter wash. While it is the same jean, the darker pair looks completely different on and is very unflattering. The lighter pair looks fresh and fashionable. The darker is frumpy, dated and just not aesthetically pleasing. I wish I had returned these.

I have 2 pairs of Farrah high rise wide legs jeans from past few years, and these ones were much larger than prior pairs. Had to send back because too large to wear.

Like the cut and material - not too stiff but not the stretchy/combo material which I do not like. I usually wear a 24 but got the 25 in this style. Had to hem them about 1 inch. They look great on me and I love them. P.S. I liked them so much I ordered the white, same size, but they are too big in the waist and hip so this pair I have to return. Strange as the 7 yr.blu taboo # 109082 size 25 fits great! (I did not change my body weight in case you are guessing that might have been the problem.)

Clean, classic silhouette. Fitted but not tight. Exactly what I was looking for and the white isn’t see-through at all which I really appreciate!

The shape of the Jean is very flattering . Length in tall was great as I find it hard to find full length pants for my height. Denim wash was very nice . I am hoping the size bigger will not be too loose as I found the size smaller very tight at the waist especially as they are high waisted .

They are fine jeans, but nothing more nothing less. I returned them.

The best jeans, I have multiple colours and love them both! I have a smaller waist and bigger thighs and it fits me perfectly with both! plus thank you for making a longer length for the tall gals!
