I’ve never posted a review before but this one deserves it. My first long cocoon coat I had it since 2019 with the same composition as this and it’s in the beautiful cigar colour. I recently upgraded to a small size in heather white for a change since my first one in XS doesn’t fit me anymore. I’m 5’1 and about 130lbs. The long version hits me just below my knees, and the small size is perfect for me, although I won’t be able to fit thicker sweaters/hoodies underneath it’s how I like my coat to fit. Mind you this version is a slim flit whereas the newer version is a classic fit. The fit is perfect as I have room for my arms to move and I can wear my casual, long sleeves and jeans winter outfits. The reason why I didn’t buy the newer version is because I went it to the store and I’m not a fan of the new feel/texture, it’s like the slouch coat.

I loved this coat but had to return it because it was just a little too small to wear a sweater underneath. I had ordered it hoping it might be a little large (I am between a small and medium) but no luck.

honestly, its a pretty good purchase. I bought it on a whim and its good but is it almost 400 dollars good... maybe not.

Soft fabric, excellent workmanship!

I had this coat on my wish list for a long time and finally went for it when the color I liked (H. Ash Taupe) went on sale. I would be happy with the purchase if I had paid full price, though. A lot of the other reviews describe how you instantly see and feel its great quality, and it's true. Even without thick layers, the coat keeps me warm enough even in pretty frigid temps (I live in New York City and can walk around in this comfortably). I also love the sleek, modern but classic style. I love wearing the collar popped, it makes me feel like I'm a character in a sci-fi movie. My only critique is that the coat is pretty big on me, but I layer up under winter coats so it doesn't bother me.

I recently bought the cocoon size s. I am 5’2 and 115lbs and this coat falls to a little past my knees. I am always cold and the long version is so warm even with a thin shirt or light sweater underneath. It provides enough room to wear a thick sweater underneath if its really cold out. Its an instant wow to any outfit whether dressed up or down. Great investment piece and classic style makes for wearing several years down the line.

The fabric is such good quality. The style fits larger in the waist area so I had to size down. With that said it’s still a really pretty coat and I love de neck detailing.

I am 167 and 58kg. Typical pear shape body with 32B chest and 67cm waist line. I ordered XS and it fits my chest just right with one piece of sweater.
My hip is 97cm and XS leaves no room for extra holiday weight.
I wouldn't choose S as the collar is going to look too bulky on me.

Fits slightly smaller than other brands

The wool is soft but compact, if that makes sense. I haven't tried it in the cold weather yet, but it looks like it will be warm especially when wearing multiple layers (which there is plenty of space underneath). The arms are spacious but that is good, once again, for layering.

I used this all winter for two winters now and I live in Winnipeg, MB Canada where temperatures go as low as -50 at times and it keeps me warm, great quality!!!

The coat arrived expertly packed (loved the barn photo used on the packaging) and as soon as you take it out, you can feel the weight of the wool and the softness of the cashmere. I ordered a large because I like to have room for winter sweaters and the fit was true to size, particularly across the shoulders which in many coats is often too large. I'm 5' 9" and the length falls just over an inch below my knees but I have a long torso, so it will likely fall lower for other customers. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this coat and in fact I like it so much that I've ordered the shorter version in another color.

Based on the site measurements, I would normally be a medium. I ended up exchanging for a small and its a good fit with some room to wear a sweater. Generally it seems to be a roomier style, esp. below the chest. The material is soft and seems to be good quality but only time will tell. I love the high collar and clean lines. Went for H.Ash Taupe. In person, the colour is close to photos on the web, but has less of the pinkish hue. Happy with the purchase so far.

Extremely warm and very well made. Love this jacket. Great fit. I usually wear S or M pending on brand - size 4 usually. Size small fits very well. My height is 167cm and weight 138lbs. Very happy to have purchased this jacket!

I love this jacket! I’m 5’10 so the extra length is amazing. I have the regular length and I reach for this one much more often. It is a looser fit, so I ended up sizing down 1 size as my personal preference leans towards slim fits. I recommend this jacket to everyone/ always in the running for a gift when I’m considering presents.

I absolutely love this wool coat. It is stylish and confortable. I am not sure it is as warm as described but I intent to wear it only in Spring and Fall. I size up to be able to wear a blazer and have room left.

This coat is nice but I found it fit big around the waist/ hip area. I’m 5’6”, 130lbs and ordered a size S. It fit well in the chest and shoulders so an XS would’ve been too small. I had to return this coat, might try ordering the regular length instead.

Every girl should have a camel coat in their wardrobe and this coat fits the bill beautifully. The long length gives it drama and it feels substantial without being too heavy. I never feel cold when I wear it. One of the best purchases I have made.

This is a great jacket. I got the Camel Cocoon Long coat in XS. I’ve wanted a camel coloured coat for a while and the cocoon coat is so versatile. I haven’t worn it out as often as I would like (because there nowhere to wear it out to in a pandemic!) but I can already envision my future outfits.
For reference I’m 5’1, and the coat goes past my knees to mid-calf. I’m also 34-27-36 and it’s definitely a looser fit than I expected. I expected XS to be tight but it’s loose around my bust and hips.
Note that it’s not a warm enough coat for Canadian Winters, but it’ll be great for Fall if worn with a sweater.

I’ve been looking for a coat that blends warmth with pretty lines, and this coat couldn’t be more spot on. I’m in love! So comfortable and warm.

I purchased Soft Taupe. I’m glad I opted for this rather than the Heather dark taupe. It’s a versatile colour and goes well with my navy bag. Generally an xs, 110 lb, wearing size 4 and xs was perfect. I was swimming in the small which was supposed to be my size, according to the size chart. Im an old school senior and I like a very classy and timeless look. This coat ticks all the boxes for me.

I own a charcoal above the knee cocoon coat as well. The charcoal one was made in Romania and when I received the long coat by mail it was made in China. I avoid buying anything from China. If I had known it was made in China I probably wouldn’t have ordered it.

I bought soft taupe, it’s a beige brown. Great quality coat, has a bit of a pear shaped silhouette. I’m pretty skinny and not curvaceous and still found the coat fit perfectly at the chest and somewhat loose and wide at the hips, but I suppose that’s how the fit needs to be.
Definitely go down one size, or you’re going to be floating around. Even after sizing down, the hip was pretty roomy. For reference, I’m 5’8” and 34-27-35

Fits perfectly over jackets and sweater without feeling too big. I have been looking for years for a camel coat and so glad I found this one.

I'm 5'2, about 95lbs and usually wear XXS for Wilfred items, this jacket reaches my knees and has a bit of room so wearing a thicker sweater underneath still buttons nicely. Overall a great coat.

I bought a XS after reading that the sizing was true to size of even more roomy. For me, the shoulders were way too tight even with a tee shirt on so I exchanged it for a different Aritiza wool jacket.

Love this coat. It’s easy to dress up if I ever go out for dinner again (lol 2020) or dress down with leggings and sneakers to run errands.
The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the sizing was tough for me. The medium was way too big in the shoulders and chest but the small is a bit tight on the shoulders/chest. Wish there was a “smedium” option

I bought the cocoon coat about 3 weeks ago and so far I really like it. It is a good mix of fashion and warmth. The length is perfect. The only thing I would change on it would be that it had a bit more of a gather in the back to accentuate the waistline, but that is personal preference. The sleeves are also a tad short but that is forever a tall woman problem. Overall, the coat is true to color and size. I always feel fancy wearing it out and it is warm for these Canadian winters.

Size down. This jacket is extremely oversized and I was not prepared.

Really good quality and very soft and warm. Looks very elegant on. The fit is what I was hoping for the size calculation was right. I am 5ft 7 and 170 lbs and a large fits great not too snug at all.

Love the Wilfred cocoon long coat. I am 5 foot 5 and it is just below my knees. It’s a slimmer fit jacket so there is no boxiness. I am between a small and medium and went medium. I am glad I went medium. Looks fantastic with dress clothes and also with jeans on a casual Friday. Amazing quality. Debating a second in Grey.

This coat is more stunning in person then online. However it is too bog for me. I bought the 1X because I vary in sizes for different brands. I also went off of the reviews where people have said it is slim fitting. Now I need to send back :(
