The Arlo High Rise Straight 28L

First time trying Denim Forum. Have read many great reviews about this Aritzia exclusive denim brand. The fit was true to size I feel, as 28 generally is my size in many quality denim brands. Length was good for booties, which was my preferred choice of footwear. A higher heel would also work for me with the 28L. The weight of the denim gives great tummy control and hugs you in all the right places. I really appreciated the broad colour options and was so pleased with the colour I got. I will most definitely try some other styles in DF.

I bought these jeans for my daughter and she wears them all the time. They fit true to size and are perfect for all occasions.

I apparently they change the fit based on the length?? In theory, this seems like a good idea, but it was really frustrating trying to find the right size since they didn’t carry the longer lengths in the store. In general, these pants fit slightly smaller too, but it really depends on the colour of the jeans. I found that the sizes varied by colour.

Also, I found that these were less high rise on me compared to the Joni high rise and sat just below my belly button.

However, the jeans themselves were high quality. The sizing is just really messed up.

These are my go-to jeans from Denim Forum - I think I need one in every colour available. So flattering and easy to wear. Length is pretty perfect too (28L) for my 5"2 height. Sizing is pretty consistent.

They do stretch out a bit, I sized down one size but they were too tight in the waist so I went back to my true size. Love these.

If you are tall these jeans are an amazing fit!! Please make them in more washes and colours. They are great for summer and a great length to wear with boots in the winter at the 30L (not 28).

Would definitely recommend. The fit and cut are perfect! Looks great with heels, sneakers or a chunky boot

I've had a light wash pair of Arlos for years and they're my most worn jeans. Just bought them in bone and black as well. Quality jeans for price, and yes, they do stretch out. I ordered size 26 and they're true to size.

good, quality material; fitting around waist, hips, and thighs then loose on calves and ankles. 26l goes down to my ankles. according to the reviews, they said i should size down, so i went from 26 to 25, but the jeans was way too tight. recommend buying your regular size. i wore the jeans for a few hours (standing, sitting, walking) and i didn’t experience much stretching. idk about washing and drying them tho since i returned the jeans.
my measurements: 5'2; 107 lbs; 32b; 26w; 34.5h.

They definitely stretch out - size down even if they’re a bit tight they will stretch. 5’7” and the hit right at the ankle

Fabric is great.. just a hint of stretch, rips in the right place and the straight leg is right in style!
The shorter length 26 was absolutely perfect for me!
I did size up, usually a 25, but the 26 gave a more relaxed ( not baggy) look I was going for!
Wish they did this in the black rip shorter lenght!!

A bit tight but I’m breaking them in. I’m 5’11” and the 30L is a tad short. Wish they had a longer option.

So the fit of these jeans overall are wonderful - I do find myself generally going down a size because they have stretch and I like my jeans to really fit snug. But what I don’t understand is why the lengths are all so short. I’m 5’4 and find that even the 30L is a tiny bit short than I’d like, so I can’t imagine who would be ordering the 26L or 28L unless you’re significantly shorter than I am… and then the majority of the shades are in 28L. Obviously these jeans just don’t work for anyone moderately tall, which seems like a shame. I’d really recommend Aritzia offer longer lengths because the shorter length is really unflattering

Love love love these! They work so well with many types of shoes they are a good bridge between a straight and wide leg. I am 5’9” and they are the perfect length (long). They do fit smaller than other styles and I found size varied wash to wash, best to fry a few sizes but worth it!

Love the colour of these jeans. I found wven in my regular size for denim forum these fit small on the waist. Hopefully they get a bit stretched.

I have these jeans in two other colors, both in size 28 and they fit absolutely perfect. I just bought the dark indigo color, and they fit like a size 29. They are gaping in the waist and after wearing for only a half an hour, they are stretched out all over. The person at the store who helped me advised not to go a size down, but I am really regretting it. After one wear I already know how sloppy they fit and that I won't be reaching for them. If you are buying the darkest blue color, size down one size so you don't waste money like I did! Does anyone know if Aritzia ever honors an exchange on a product barely worn that stretches or bags out? I would be so, so grateful to have these in a size that fits properly.

Have the same pair in three other colors & they all fit. This pair was much tighter!

I have other Arlo jeans and they fit similarly except the ripped ones are slightly stretchy and I like the fit better, they do make my legs look bigger like I have bigger thighs but I think that’s how how this fit looks. The photo looks like they’re 2 simple rips at the knees but in-person the jeans are ripped a lot more and not just at the knees. I kept them otherwise.

I loved these jeans so much, but I ordered a 30L as I'm 5'10'' and 30 inseam is usually the perfect length but they were too short for some reason so I had to return them. I also wish they had darker washes in longer lengths.

Get lots of compliments on these jeans. I usually don’t like button up instead of zipper but these are easy to use! Wash is great, feel is comfy and soft denim. Hope they keep making these!

The jeans fit well but they do stretch out a bit after few wears. I got my regular size in jeans from denim forum which is one size up from my regular jean size. However, after the first wash, the tiny brass button on the pocket fell off. It doesn't really have an impact on the functionality of the denim but for item that costs over $100 to have this issue after just one wash is disappointing.

They don’t stay in shape, unfortunately. Love the wash tho!

These have the potential to be really cute! I have the skinny jeans from denim forum in a size 25 (I sized down from a 26 based on reviews) and it is a perfect fit so when I received the 25 in this style I was super disappointed I couldn’t even do the buttons up. I’ll likely need a 26/27.

I sized down to a 24 as I felt that the 25 might stretch and end up being a little baggier. The 24 are a tighter fit but they look good. I might keep the 25 to have a looser fit as well. Love the 9 year blondie bleu color!

Denim Forum jeans are super soft, comfortable, and flattering (even after many washes). I would say jeans are true to size however they do stretch after a few wears but doesn't stretch a full size IMO. Colours are a little deceiving on website but may be that's just Aritizia's photographer..

Love these jeans, I bought three pairs all different colours. Make sure to buy them very tight, once you wash them one they will losen up quite a bit. They keep their shape and are great quality.

Fabric is great but my last ones stretched out so much I can’t wear them anymore. Got a size smaller this time and they are stretched out a lot once again. The small percentage of elastase/stretch material does a lot to the overall fit.

They’re so comfortable and fit so well.

I returned these, as they were more wide-legged than the picture seemed. I am shorter, and the look just didn’t suit me. Also didn’t fit totally true to size. My regular size of 28 was very tight.

These jeans are beautiful; however, the fitting is unreliable. I have a black pair size 25, inseam 30" and they sit bellow the ankle bone, which is the correct length for a classic, straight pair of jeans. The ones I've just got this time are the exact same size but sit above the ankle bone making them look like "ankle pants," which is not ideal. I'd recommend you to go to a physical store and try them one instead of buying them online.

I loved the look and feel of these jeans when I tried them on. I tried them in various sizes and asked for advice from staff to confirm my sizing choice. I purchased them in a 31; I couldn’t button up the 30 comfortably. Unfortunately, they stretch out so much that they are now one to two sizes to big on me, and unwearable because they fall down too much. I do not recommend these jeans unfortunately… I feel like I wasted my money, and they are not inexpensive.

These jeans fit absolutely perfectly! For reference, I am 170cm and 42kg.
I also love the button fly that they have, as opposed to a zipper one. The jeans are also the perfect length- not too short or too long.

I love the structure and fit of the Jean's and will definitely buy more on other colours.

Loved the look and feel of this jean. Sadly waist pinched in too much for my athletic shaped body and had to return.
