The '90s loose jean
Inspired by the zeitgeist of '90s grunge, the Joni is Denim Forum's signature high-rise loose jean. Slouchy and oversized, these are big jeans with a bad attitude. They’re made from non-stretch 100% cotton denim from Japan — known to only get better with wear. This version comes in a distressed light indigo wash with a clean hem.

Perfect 90s Jean
I typically wear a 25/26 and the 26 was definitely oversized on me. I love the fit, it's super cute in the waist and flattering on the butt while still having the loose leg.

Two sizes too small
Ordered size as recommended on site which was my true size. Like others, this fits about two sizes too small. Also very rough denim, not soft like other DF styles or Agolde, Levi,etc. Would recommend the Joni Loose and just size down from your typical size.

Hips are tighter than the standard Joni
I have a 25" waist and 34" hips so most if not all of my Joni jeans and shorts are in a 24. These fit my waist and I could button it up, but they were uncomfortably tight in the hips. I had to go up one size and they fit more like I expected.

I was in dire need of a new pair of black straight leg jeans and figured these would be great. I ordered my usual size and when they came in I couldn’t even do up the buttons. I returned them and sized up and even still they were extremely tight. Will be returning. Overall, the fit is weird and they run extremely small.

Love it, but..
Love it, just wish it has more stretch since I'm a bit on the curvy side (wide hips, small waist). The main problem are the buttons!! Goodluck if you have long nails, I get the buttons helps with the fit overall, but my hands were so sore after trying to close all of them. Idk how you'll fair with these drunk, haha!

Hope they make extra short lengths someday for us girls shorter than 5'2 lol
