tabloid trench coat

As someone who is on the taller side, I love the length of this coat, especially in the arms. The fabric is buttery soft and comfortable while being a fashion statement. Definitely a staple piece in my wardrobe! I find most of their coats on the larger size so I sized down to an xs, however I normally buy a s in shirts from aritzia (I’m also a 32DD and the buttons close with extra room)

I’m normally a size XXS but bought this in XS because I wanted to wear it with a sweater when the weather is cold and a relaxed look with a T-Shirt whenever. I am 115lbs 5’2 . Ended up buying all 3 colors

The quality of the material is excellent and it fits true to size. I was surprised by the colour - I ordered the pearl white and it is more muted than I anticipated. Kind of the colour you would expect when a white shirt washes out a bit.

I really love this trench coat in brown. I first ordered a size medium because other reviews said that it runs really big but since I was going for an oversized relaxed fit I exchanged it for the large. The quality is excellent and the color is beautiful.

The arms on this coat was so huge I had to take it to get altered. It cost me $128. Almost half the price of the coat. I don't think it was worth buying. Disappointed.

Colour is great, but the material is not soft enough and quite rigid, it wrinkles from fold in the box and stay on forever. I hung it up for weeks the wrinkle still there in the sleeves. Otherwise is a nice jacket

As soon as I tried on the trench coat, I knew I made the right decision to purchase the coat. You can dress it up or down and be noticed in the room.

It does run large. I would recommend sizing down.

Bought this coat for a trip to Spain, and it did not disappoint. It’s incredibly flattering, chic, and very soft. love the neutral color, goes with everything.

I love it so much! It’s the perfect fall and spring trench. For reference I’m 5’1 and I’m usually an XXS/XS at aritzia. I ordered an XXS in the dark brown color and it fits me perfectly with enough room for a sweater underneath.

I got a medium and it fits a little oversized but I love it! Very nice to wear over on a somewhat chilly day!

God knows I tried to love this coat, so much so that I have ordered it THREE times at 3 different points. The material is luxurious, the cut is great, you will look like a baddie...HOWEVER... the cut just doesn't hit 100%. I found the jacket droopy on the shoulders (both in my original M and when I sized down to S) that makes you look like a football player. I couldn't imagine layering (as you would have to since it is not a winter coat), so I finally had to move on and quit trying to make it work.

This is a beautiful trench. The vegan leather looks and feels like the real deal, but will weather the outdoor elements much better than leather. It fits slightly large, but I like that I can comfortably fit a sweater or hoodie underneath. It looks great with jeans or work clothes. I highly recommend.

This coat is buttery soft and has all the details of a classic trench coat, but with better material. The vegan leather gives it an elevated look and feel. I’m usually a medium in most things at Aritzia but I sized down to a small, and still have plenty of room to layer under this trench. Colour is as shown, I got the Fluent Taupe.

The coat is beautiful and you can definitely say it has a great quality. I personally like the slightly oversized fit, but you can tell it is like that more in person than in photo.
One thing I don’t like is that the color is totally off. In the pic it ooks like light nude/beige, but in person is taupe/grayish beige

I think it looks expensive but the price point is perfect. It’s classic but modern!

Love this coat. It fits really well, slightly more roomy than your usual trench but still true to size, it’s just the style. My only complaint is mine came very wrinkled and is taking awhile to naturally let the wrinkles fall.

This is the trench I've been looking for. I am 5'4 and it is the perfect length. I normally wear a size M and sized down to a size S (could have gotten away with an XS if not for it slightly pulling on the lowest button at the hips). It does not provide much warmth/is very sweaty in any heat, but that is to be expected with the material.

I was skeptical ordering this trench coat since faux leather can look and feel quite "cheap". However, I try to only purchase faux leather so I really wanted to try this coat. I love black, so I ordered the black trench. I also ordered an XS because I didn't want it to be too oversized. It is the perfect trench coat for me! The material is great quality; it doesn't look or feel cheap at all. It's very soft and quite warm. I am 5'4" and the length is perfect- it hits me right at the knees. The XS was also the perfect size for me (my measurements are 34-27-35, 130 lbs). Overall, I highly recommend this coat!

Jacket is a must have! I adore the oversized fit and it is quite warm! IN LOVE . Only critique is it could be longer !

I haven't had the chance to wear this yet (too warm where I am at) but I am OBSESSED!!! The leather is so soft and it is super good quality and fabric. So chic and totally worth the investment.

Loose , but good for over suits , sweaters or dresses

The color is not light like as shown in the pic. About three shades darker, a normal taupe. I wished the pic resembled the actual color. Then I wouldn't have bought it. It's a beautiful coat. I am also almost 5'3" (120- waist 25) and the small was too big. I will order an XS in another color. Wish there was a real nude color in between the two lightest choices. I ordered the small so it would be a bit loose to wear under biz suits, but even the XS would be loose enough and look beautiful. Prob just settle for the black leather, as I'll wear that a lot!

It's a beautiful coat but the sizing is SO SO off. I am typically a S in aritzia clothing and I sized down to XS but even that looks WAYY to bulky over me. And I'm not talking about that cute oversized look. I'm talking when I put my hands in my pockets the sleeves shrivel up looking two times too big for my body. Maybe a 2X would fit better...but I'm not going to wait

Not that it matters, but the flap in the front is a little odd but doesn't bother me; still a nice trench coat nonetheless. I have both black and beige colours.

I ordered the Small and found the shoulders to be too large, and droopy and the top button too tight.

I was so excited for this piece & really disappointed by the cut. The colour and material were lovely, but the shoulders were bizarrely oversized. I ordered the 2X and it was cut as though I had humongous shoulders. Really disappointed that this didn't work out. I would love to see Aritizia improve how they approach size inclusion - I have better luck shopping with Ganni or Isabel Marant than Aritzia as an 18/20, which seems crazy!

I am a small, but went 2XS and it fitted perfectly due to my short torso...
Please do go down a size as it is made slightly bigger!

Worth everyyyyy dollar. I'm thinking of getting the black one as well. The fabric is soooo nice. I get so many compliments. I am usually between size S or XS in Aritzia, this coat is definitely a bit oversized, size down if you want a "normal fit".

Love this trench fits so well such a timeless elegant piece love everything about it. If you have longer arms I would recommend sizing up

Runs big so I would consider sizing down 1-2 sizes.

Cognac color is so beautiful and stylish. I ordered a size down and it is perfect but if you were to get your normal size it would be more oversized. It’s still a tad oversized but in a good way. Mine arrive without the belt and I’m disappointed I can’t tighten at the waist.

I purchased the XS, but could have gone with the XXS. I'm keeping the XS as there is lots of room for a blazer underneath (I'm a slim to average build). Feels great on and I love the quality of the vegan leather. I have the matte pearl - it's great colour. Overall, the coat creates a very sophisticated look. Gave the coat 4 stars for being a little off on the fit, otherwise, I would have gone with 5 :)

Absolutely stunning! Yes, it is very oversized, I would definitely try it on if you can. I wear a size xs/s usually and purchased an xxs.
The Fluent Taupe is a lot more cool-toned in real life, I think the picture online really doesn't do justice to how beautiful this color actually is. Has more of a grey undertone. Absolutely stunning overall!

This was one of those instant “I have to have that” purchases and it did not disappoint. This trench is classic and turns heads everywhere I go. It’s definitely one of those “get it while you can” items!

I love the oversized look and the vegan leather feel of this coat! And it gives major Matrix vibes. It is oversized so size down if you want a more regular fit (twice for normal fit). The dropped shoulders also give a really nice effect.

Got a XXS and although it’s meant to fit oversized , it was way bigger than expected. My friend that usually buys a fitted S tried it on and it was too large for her too.

I got it in the Cognac colour and its very soft and comfortable. I sized down to 2xs and it's still a bit loose, but still looks good! I can definitely layer ubderneath

This jacket is super chic. Fits super large, usually a XS but I was swimming in it so exchanged it for a XXS and it's still really big. Meant for the oversized look I guess but still a super great jacket.

Loved the jacket but I went with the suggested sizing and it was way to big. Even for a trench. Now I’m sad because it is all sold out.

I’ve loved Aritzia’s faux leather for a while, so them coming out with a trench in the fabric is dreamy. It is heavy and fits oversized but that was the vibe I was going for. The cognac colour is really pretty- and I find this is a great dupe for the Frankie shop!
