slater coat

It is much too big. Even Medium, which usually fits, there is room for 2 people.

Way oversized , followed measurements which recommended a medium, I purchased a small, still way too big. Ordered an extra small, too big, returned.
The returning process was amazing and store clerks very helpful.

I’m glad I ordered this coat on sale. I love oversized clothes , so I’m glad I found this design.
The colour is not “mine”, but I’m okay with that.
And it’s very warm

Perfect coat for west coast winters. Great length for taking my kid to the park, running errands, etc. Love the colour too!

Originally from Chicago and when I moved to Atlanta I vowed no more parkas. My vow was short lived, picked up the Slater coat because it gets cold and wet on the mornings in Atlanta and the slater coat has lightweight insulation and water repellant fabrics. Issues solved and it's massive and cozy for my painful morning commute to the gym.

I washed this jacket and there’s weird darker marks on it and it won’t come out. Not happy with this jacket

Love the coat! It’s water repellent and very warm. Perfect for Vancouver / Whistler in the winter. But it’s more oversized than I would have liked. I got and XS and I’m 5’3. Would have liked the XXS but it was sold out.

It is fairly oversized but I still ordered a size up and it fits nice. Not too flimsy. I hope aritzia makes more coats with this technology cause it’s super warm. I have low iron and get cold really easily and I’m so happy I got this coat cause it helps keep me warm in Canadian winters.

This is my new wear-everyday coat! After reading the reviews, I purchased a size down and it fits perfectly - roomy enough for chunky sweaters or hoodies, but not huge. I love the hood for snowy or wet weather, and the hand-warmer pockets are super soft. Keeps the wind out without any bulk, so perfect for city winter. A must-buy!

I usually wear xs but prefer a bit more room in a coat. I probably should have stuck with an xs as the Slater Coat is VERY roomy. Outside of sizing issues I love the design of the coat and it much warmer than I expected.

Absolutely love the fit and look of this coat, I get compliments every time I wear it! Super warm too. I’m 5’4” and got and xs, it’s still slightly oversized but I love that look.

Aritizia devrait penser à faire une collection maternité. Même si ce n’est pas intentionnelle, ce manteau pourrait en faire parti ! Je le porte avec mon bébé de 6 mois qui est dans son porte-bébé et je peux littéralement fermé le manteau !! Donc parfait pour l’hiver !!! J’ai peut-être omis de lire tous les détails sur la coupe, car j’ai été surprise. La taille XS aurait été mieux, mais maintenant je le porte avec mon +1.

I was debating getting this coat for a long time- I finally got it and can’t return it and I wish I could. I got my usual size and probably should’ve sized down for sure. It’s perfect length in the arms though. So if you want a small I would get an xs. Also it’s a bit more shiny than it looks. It’s also not as thick as I expected, almost seems like they didn’t fill it fully. I still think it’s nice but idk I would probably pay like 80 for this not 150$ like I did

Being tall I truly appreciate outerwear with deep hoods and long enough sleeves. This one is perfect that way. I like how well made it is. The coat is visually satisfying and comfortable as well. In size S it still has a lot of room for me and oversized.

Warm and lots of room for extra clothes. Ready for Toronto winter🙂

I went in store to buy the green version of the slater coat while it's on sale, and found a black there in small instead. For reference, I am a medium in TNA coats usually (I have the Powder Puff and the original Bancroft Parka). This Slater coat is huge. A small is still oversized on me. I could have gone with a medium and still had ample space. It is warm, and has space to layer. I would recommend sizing down one if you want something oversized and comfy. It's very cute and I'm so happy I found a black instead of the green I originally intended to get. Remember, the size is kind of large, so you may need to go down two sizes if you want a fitted look.

I was looking for a longer, compact, but warm jacket and found this one. I normally am a small - especially for jackets or outerwear but I followed the other reviewer's advice and ordered an XS. It is still oversize! but in a good way. Definitely size down 1-2 sizes as it runs large. The jacket is super comfy, love all the pockets and is really warm as well without being bulky.

Super practical and functional, especially in rainy Vancouver. It is oversized and runs large so size down if you are debating between sizes. I am usually XXS and got a XXS - it fits baggy but I am okay with the relaxed fit. There's 3 pockets, side ones are buttoned and the inner one is zippered - all lined so it's comfortable. I wear this jacket so much it's worth the price. I always reach for it whenever I'm walking my dog or for quick errands.

the jacket runs very large! i think going 2 sizes smaller than your normal size is the best bet. i'm about 5 feet 1 and 140 pounds and usually i wear a medium. but i got an extra small and it still is an oversized fit on me. I love the brown colour and how long it is. the length hits just below my kneecap.

I love everything about this coat. The length is perfect, pockets are lined in warm fleece, the zip up neck is perfect for windy walks-great hood. It’s not bulky , it’s light weight but super warm. Just a great cold weather coat.

Love this coat! So damn comfy. When I first got it I noticed it was thinner feeling than some of my other winter coats so I was surprised how warm it is. I have worn this coat in -20/-30 and did not feel cold at all. Fits fairly oversized so I sized down.

Definitely fits large as it’s an oversized coat. I generally fit in a med for jackets. I had to buy an XS for this one to fit properly. However it’s a lovely coat, love the unique pattern than the usual plain coats. Super happy with the purchase.

I love this jacket! As a bigger girl this is the first jacket that’s ever fit me at aritzia since nothing is big boob friendly! This one is!!!!!! It’s oversized and fits me and I’m like an 18/20/2x.!

I've been wearing it everyday since it arrived. I bought black though the navy blue looked great as well. I currently wear a size medium to large in most of the brands from Aritzia but I purchased this coat in a small and it fits great. It's kept me warm on walks with my dog this winter in Toronto.

Photos don’t do it justice! Perfect oversized fit but stayed TTS. Usually a medium in TNA waffle shirts, large in boyfriend hoodie for thr extra oversize fit. Medium in super puff too. Ordered medium and an obsessed!

Size down! I purchased this for my daughter and she is usually a small or medium with athletic built. Xsmall was huge so I returned the Xsmall for an XXsmall. I love that it’s light height but still very warm.

Great coat especially on colder days. It extremely oversized. I normally wear a size medium (or sometimes small) and I the XXS fit me perfectly with room to layer.

Typically I'm a size L in this store, and a small fit perfectly with some room. Even in a small, the arm is still very roomy, ideal for layering long sleeves. The pockets are also very soft inside. Sleeve length and overall length was great for 5'3".

This coat has been perfect for early winter when it's not too cold out yet. I ordered the S, but it was massive. The XS is still very roomy, but the sleeves and length are much better. I'm 5'4, 130lbs.

Really appreciate how functional this coat is: waterproof, windproof, warm, lightweight, the hood is large enough to go over a beanie, the pockets are lined with soft fabric, the knit cuffs are soft to. It's oversized so you can wear it over anything, but the shape is good so it doesn't look sloppy.

Great coat for the swing seasons. It's warm but not heavy. Great for errands and walks. The front pockets are deep enough to fit a regular sized wallet without feeling bulky. Definitely size down. I got and XS and can still fit a bulky sweater. An XXS could have worked too but I like the extra room.

The coat is light and warm enough for above zero temperature. Very comfortable. I really happy it has a hood. The whole feeling is just right for the fall jacket

Though the sizing function on the site pointed me toward a Large, I ordered the Medium because it was oversized. It fits the way I want it to, so yay!
The sleeves are a little long; might be a little too long for someone with shorter arms, but for me they will come in handy if i ever forget my gloves.
Great for wearing over big sweaters.

I am Aritzia customer for a while and have several coats from TNA.. always wanted the coach version of the coat with the hood and here it is. Great length, great hood, beautiful colours. Will definitely buy one more color if it goes on sale.

The size is perfect…. I’m xl and large fits nice. Very cozy, just perfect for dropping off the kids at school.

I want to start by saying I loved this coat. The fabric is pretty and seems durable, it's warm and very light weight, which is something not all vegan coats offer. The attention to detail is there, no doubt, BUT it's HUGE! Like I am usual a size S but ordered 2XS and it's still too big, too oversized, especially in the arms. I feel this could be advertised as a unisex coat because my husband tried it on and he's size M/L in men's and even the 2XS fit him (tight, but I think you can get my point, like a S would fit him perfectly). I don't know how I feel, I like the coat and I am over puffy/michellin man styles, so this in a sense is what I was looking for because I like longer length coats (it hits jut below the knee). I guess if they had a 3XS it would be better? But if you are a M/L then you have room to size down enough to find your perfect fit. I would say to size down two sizes with no worries, there is plenty of room for chunky sweater. ( I am 154 cm, 50 kg ,for reference).
