Stretchier than anticipated
I’ve been wearing 26 for years and after having a baby, I sized up to 27. I’m a true 27 and these were so stretchy that I could have just gone down to a 26

Great quality
Very soft and the length is perfect for me, without needing to hem them (I am 5'3). They feel more like leggings to me than denim, soft, stretchy, the rise is lower than I am used to but the fit is fine. It's my first citizens and I love the quality, but I think next time I'll try something with a more structured feel and less stretchy.

Too cropped, not enough stretch, too tight
The ARITZIA website says the composition is 2% Elastine which is incorrect. It has 2% spandex which has less stretch than elastine. I purchased the rocket in regular length and I love it. I assumed the crop rocket would be the same but it was a little bit tighter and the crop is too short for me. I am 5’10.5 so the length was disappointing. For a crop it is cut too short. Citizens overall has a designer fit and the cut is flattering to the figure.

Looks great, feels great!
I've always bought cheaper black skinny jeans and they've always faded and had that weird dye smell after a few washes. I totally splurged with these, they were on sale too. Totally worth it! You are paying for a quality piece of clothing that makes your butt look great. I wish I had gotten them years ago. They're the perfect length for me too. I'm 5' 3" and 114 lbs and I got it in a size 26. I probably should have gone up to size 27 but I was so excited to wear them, I couldn't wait to exchange them. Get it.

Love these pants
These pants are tight, they stay black, are thin enough to look sleek without being see through, are just the right length for shorter girls (I am 5”2), are completely matte black (no weird butt designs), and push your bum up like you wouldn’t believe. Only negative is the fabric over the zipper doesn’t quite cover the zipper fully. Otherwise, they are completely worth the price. Good idea to size down for all Citizens of Humanity jeans.
