requiem trench coat

Definitely size down in this! I'm usually an L-XL and bought a Medium based on other reviews I've seen. It's a nice oversized fit and it's long enough for my height.

I just love this coat. It feels like it’s such good quality. Crazy large fit though, I’m usually a Med-Lrg but I ended up needing an XS in this one.

Love an oversized look, but normal sizing looks very big, otherwise very nice coat.

Normally I’m a medium so I listened to the other reviews and sized down to a small, it fits perfect! The collar on this coat is everything, would def recommend it!

Love the oversized look, material and colour. So flowy and so cute. I cannot stop wearing it during the fall with a turtleneck underneath. I am shorter but this jacket works well on me.
I would recommend sizing down as this is slightly bigger.

Wanted to love it... colour is great and the slouchy oversized look is one I gravitate to. The problem is that it feels a bit too much like a rain jacket, which I wasn't into since that wasn't what I was looking for. I would love to see this silhouette done in a cotton or linen... even potentially a denim! If you are looking for a water-resistant jacket this is the one for you.

I'm usually a size medium in outerwear but this coat is very oversized and I'm 5'2 so I purchased the xxs and it fits great. It's flowy enough to wear a sweater underneath but still light enough to just wear a simple blouse. It's such a versatile piece that I ended up getting it in the black as well and I have been wearing both non-stop. I definitely suggest sizing down as it runs really large but it is a great staple in my wardrobe. I'm obsessed.

Love the material! You'd need to be a fan of the oversized look to truly like this coat though... I got an XS and it's very oversized but right up my alley. Looks cute with turtle necks and roomy enough to layer under.

Cute but very oversized. I'm usually a medium and I exchanged it for an XXS. Fabric is more for warm fall weather and not suitable for winter. The coat ends at my mid-calf.

I really love this jacket. It's long and super classic looking. I got the green colour and it's a nice change from black. I would just say, really size down. I'm usually a medium in other Aritzia coats, but I read other reviews saying to size down, so I got a small. It was still HUGE. My boyfriend said it looked like I borrowed a big man's coat that didn't fit. I had to order an XS. Believe the other reviewers and really size down. I thought it was an exaggeration and I was mistaken.

I had to return the medium (my usual size) the other reviews are correct it sizes towards large. I reordered in small and the only thing I lost by doing that was a bit of sleeve length but not overly noticeable.

Very please with the trench, it has a flair and cut to it that makes it a joy to wear for casual or dressy.

The fit is VERY big. I usually fit into medium at aritzia but after reading previous reviews, I bought an extra small. It was still very big. It’s not the oversized I was looking for.

If you're thinking of making this purchase, act now! This is a great quality coat. It's very luxurious (feels and looks high end) and it's chic. Like most reviewers on here, I'm going to say that it fits larger than usual. I initially bought a small and exchanged it for an XS. To give you an accurate description, I am between 5'7 and 5'8, and my sizes are as such:
- bust : 33 in
- waist: 28 in
- hips: 39 in

I purchased the green version of this coat, and I am so happy I listened to the other reviews about sizing! It is a beautiful coat for sure, it feels high quality and durable. It is very, very oversized though. I normally am a small but ordered an xs based on the reviews here. The xs is still a generous fit, but looks very chic. If I had ordered my regular size, I would probably be swimming in fabric. So yes, it is probably best to size down.

Super chic but VERY oversized! I purchased a Large (Which is usually hit or miss for a plus girl at Aritzia) but similar to the picture it does have an oversized feel to it. I will keep it because I kind of like the baggy layered look but smaller girls will want to size down at least two sizes if they don't want the jacket to swallow them up. For reference I am usually a size 16-18. If you're around my size, I would only size down once.

Loose fit, very casual. I think it would be perfect for fall.

This coat feels much more luxurious and expensive than it actually is. My only critique is the fit. It’s really oversized and can look like you’re drowning in fabric. The bottom flares out a lot so keep that in mind. I’m a large/XL and ordered a medium but returned it for a small!

I’ve been obsessing over this trench since it first came out as Le Fou and am so happy I finally got it. The fit is definitely oversized but I stayed true to size. I love the look and even in quarantine I rock it with my TNA tracksuit!!!

This trench isn’t your average trench. It’s larger size lapel, gives this lightweight jacket, that Cooke effect. My only complaint is the sleeves are too wide at the wrist. They aren’t easily rolled up and often fall down. I wished the sleeves had an extra button to tighten the sleeve.
