Love these pants! I wear them at least 1-2 a week. You can dress them up or down. Love how comfortable & versatile they are! Would buy again for sure. Wish they had a grey pinstripe version

It was okay. Didn't seem like anything special unlike their Agency pant. At the time, the Agency pant only came in one length, so I decided to try the pleated pant in a short length. It was still way too long. If you want a pair of pleated pants, I'd highly recommend the Effortless cropped instead.

Loved these pants -- usually purchase the EFFORTLESS. I wanted them to fit slightly below belly button (similar to model fit) but they are still pretty high waisted. I also like pants to fit a bit slouchy and so I sized up from a 6 to an 8, but fit just right. Also I am 5'7" and selected a regular length and I wish I had gotten tall. They feel great with sneakers and loafers but look weird with heels.

I loved it! Fits amazing, the only problem that I saw is that it catches my cats hair all the time… but overall pretty good!

I just received these pants. Definitely size up as my regular size (10 in short) is tight on me, couldn't even zip up. Overall fabric quality is great.

Whenever I wear this pant I would have people compliment on how it fits. The material is very thick which is perfect for winter. I love how high-rise it is and hug your hips well.
It's definitely a snug fit so I'd recomend size up if youre between sizes.

Can wear casually with a sweatshirt and sneakers, to work with loafers or out to dinner with heels!

I know everyone loves the effortless pants but I just have never been a fan. I decided to try these out and I LOVE them!! They are so comfortable and flattering and I love the material!

The Pleated Pant fits me perfectly. I usually wear a size 0 in effortless pant, but I got a size 2. The material is nice and thick for fall weather. Would definitely buy again!

I'm obsessed with the Re-ssential fabric. The pants fit amazing on my waist and hips, but the length was just too short. The length just looked awkward for such a wide leg. I had to return them.

I would size up from what you wear in the effortless pant. Tried my usual size and it didn’t work.

I am a big fan of wide leg pants. Effortless in crepette drapes better than this fabric. Due to the thickness of this pants, you don’t really enjoy the flow feeling. If you want real wide leg with this fabric, go with founder pants. Overall I love this fabric but not in this style.

fabric is thicker, the clasp is a little smaller but basically fits feels and looks like the effortless pant

Purchased regular length but I'm petite so knew I would need hemmed. Fits TTS everywhere else. The material is soo thick and soft, the most high quality pants I own now, and most all my pants come from Aritzia. I already have the effortless pant and these are same fit and style but thicker, more luxurious quality imo. Amazing steal for the sale price.

I’ve always loved the effortless pants and I have them in multiple colours. I saw these on sale and decided to try them out. They are also amazing! They fit pretty much the same as the effortless pants, they just have a different fabric

Love these pants. Usually a 00, but they only had a 0, which still fit well. Slightly a gap in the waist-but not so overwhelming. Nothing a small belt can’t handle.

Purchased these in the tall length and they fit like a dream. I wear a size 6 usually but I did size up after looking at the size guide. The size 8 tall is perfect for me.

Finally after much searching, a pair of pants with a small enough waist and wide enough hips. I can only say good things about these pants. Looking forward to buying more!

Was excited for these but unfortunately had to return. The fabric was a bit heavy than expected (would make a great dress ont for fall/winter) and it was too small. Typically a size 6/28 and these were way too tight in the waistband. I would go up at least one size from your usual unless you have a very defined waist.

I love the fit and silhouette on these. The waist is a tad bit loose but the 4 was overall a bit tight so I sized up, which I've found in other pants in Re(essential) fabric. I will be either wearing this with a belt or I may have the waist slightly taken in. I am 5'2" but I ordered the regular inseam and I'm fine with that since I plan to wear this with heels and even with chunky sneakers it's not too bad. I considered getting the Effortless pants and when I put these on I was sold on it over the Effortless.

Pretty cute pants, love the color, fits right but could just be a tab more fitted at the hips.

Quality, fit and style is just perfection. I want them in all colors! I am typically a size 0 so I did have to size up but the fit is great. Love them.

Order one size up from normal; even the staff at Aritzia noted the pants run small when I exchanged fit a different size

I have a small waist and big hips and bum so it's always a struggle finding trousers that fit my waist, hips, bum and thighs WITHOUT tailoring. It's even harder finding trousers that fit me perfectly and don't need to be hemmed. Enter these pleated pants. They fit me perfectly. Just right on the waist. Just right over the hips and bum. Perfect length in size regular. Super comfortable and super flattering. I purchased three pairs and want to buy at least two more (I'm eyeing Navy and Matte Pearl) because they're just that good.

I love these pants. They are more structured than the effortless but still soft on the skin. Super high waisted and the pleating is very flattering.

These pants feel super luxurious. The material is nice and thick, definitely worth the price. I feel like my body tends to look boxy when I tuck in blouses but these pants add a natural curve to the hip/butt area even if you have just a little to work with!! I’m a size 2 in other brands and size 2 seems to be perfect in these pants, true to size! I’m also 5’7 and these pants go just a little past my ankle so they're not too short or long. Definitely looking forward to buying it in more colors

Super contente de mon nouveau pantalon bleu marine. Il avantage la silhouette, car il monte haut et les jambes sont larges. Il est peut-être un peu trop long pour moi, je dois le porter avec de petits talons. J’aurai peut-être à le faire couper de 2 cm pour le mettre avec des souliers plats.

Sizing is so weird. I usually wear 4 in pants (effortless and tie front), but the waist on the pleated is soo small I could barely zip them... But the fit at hips and butt was good and then wayyy to big on the thighs. Will definitely return

I ordered both these and the effortless pants and for me, these were the clear winner. I usually wear size 24 or 25 in jeans and the size 2 in these pants was the right size, so these do run a bit small in the waist. These are extremely flattering even for my height 5'2' and I do hope Aritzia decides to offer additional colors in the short inseam. I appreciate the option of having the shorter inseam, and size "inclusivity" shouldn't just mean I only can buy pants in black ;)

10/10 quality. I’m an hourglass, and it fits my waist snug (27”) and my hips loose (38”). These pants are comfortable & perfect for office days, and casual hangouts.

Looks great ! Make me looks slim and talk. Love it . Just the size slightly smaller than my regular wears. I would recommend one size up.

These pants are my fav now. Lovely color and amazing fit. Its true to size. I am 5'6" and 158 lbs and I purchased size 10 fits me well.

Pros: Great alternative to Effortless Pant if you have wide hips/smaller waist. Pleating detail is more structured and very flattering. Material is thicker and holds irons/steams well. Cons: Fits smaller, had to size up 2 sizes for proper fit.

Got these for work and I feel unstoppable. I would get every single color. Just a little itty bitty wide on the hips (not waist).

I love how well made these are. The fabric sits beautifully and looks really classy. I love the purple color too. I have a 30 inch waist and 40 inch hips too if that helps.

For reference, I am 5'1 and around 115lbs. I ordered the size 4 regular since Aritizia did not sell the color I wanted in short length. The pants fit well around my waist. However, they are EXTREMELY oversized and long. It almost looked like I was wearing diapers/a garbage bag. Not flattering/not classy at all. Moreover, the pants were about 30cm too long on me (not exaggerating), so they may only fit well on tall figures. These pants are being returned.

Petite ladies can thank me later. I’m 90 lb-5’0”tall, 23.5” waist, lean frame, bought size 00. The pants dimensions: 24 in waist and 30.5” inseam. These pants are made for those who are proportionate in height and weight (height/ weight ratio has to be ideal). I decided to order these because others complained that the waist is too small. i’m pretty loyal to Theory and Vince bc it comes in sizes 00p/xxs. However, I still need to take the waist in 2-3 inches. These fit almost perfectly. Material is substantial and looks expensive. Leg are wide, but just righ.pt. I will take it up 1 inch when wearing w sneakers (no need to hem with 3 in heels). Also got express free shipping overnight. Ordering another color this minute.

The material is amazing, it’s a great quality. Regarding the size, it feels a bit tight on the waist, but not worth sizing up.

The extra leg volume trouser is in a thicker, flattering textile so the drape holds its modern shape whilst emphasizing your waist for a sexy, urban look. I’ll be wearing to work with a button down blouse and power heels, but also out with a cropped tank and platform sandals.

Im usually a size 6 but ordered in 8 as Aritzia runs smaller. The pants are made well but I couldn’t zip up.

Love these pants, the Eclipse colour is gorgeous as is the fit. Much better than the Effortless imo. I’m usually a size 8 in pants but always a 10 in Aritzia bottoms and that’s the size I ordered. I received multiple compliments the first time I wore them, definitely a quality piece.

These are nice, flowy pant and are nice fabric, however, are sized small. I could barely do them up, and too tight in the bum. I’m usually a 4-6.

I’m 5’2” 130 lbs, I ordered a sz10. I usually wear a sz. 8, but in Aritzia I order a 10. The waist runs smaller in these pants. The length hits me at the ankle.

These pants are perfection! I purchased them in both navy and dark brown and am delighted that I did! The fit is fabulous, the fabric and drape are beautiful and I did not need to hem them! These will be my go-to pants for both casual and dressy, and because they don’t wrinkle easily, travel too!

I have been on a mission to find great pants for the past few years and I'm psyched to have these! To me, these fit true to size. I'm 5'8", 150lbs with long legs/short torso and have a somewhat defined waist and flat stomach. I tried both the 8 and the 10 both for length and comfort, and ended up keeping the 8 (my usual size). The length is perfect for sneakers (I don't wear heels) and the look is slouchy and slightly puddled without dragging on the ground. The 10 very *very comfortable* but kind of sloppy on me through the hip and butt and also dragged a bit on the ground - so I'd say if you want a very oversized look maybe order a size up. Bought this with the New Command pant and the Generation Blazer for a sick and versatile suit.
