plaza coat

I bought this jacket in a size L since it was the only size available. I am normally a M. Size L fits well everywhere giving a bit of space to wear thick sweater if i wanted. The only complaint i have are the shoulder pads. I feel they are too big and bulky. If they were thinner or more compact this would be a perfect 5/5 for me. This jacket is also pretty long. Hits me at my ankles (I'm 5'-5" ~ 5'-6"). Also the belt at the back is not adjustable which is a bit disappointing. No interior pockets just the 2 exterior on the side. Overall, I'm happy with it since I got it for 50% off.

I ordered xxs, It fits me perfectly, even though I am 5"1 , babaton never makes me disappoint, i have 3 coats from babaton, all of them super snug and nicely fitted, I checked few reviews before purchasing plaza coat, people are complaining about the length, I think this coat is supposed to be long, I would definitely recommend this coat to my friends

This coat is really nice and luxurious! I'm 5'2 so it's kinda long on me (it reaches an inch or 2 above my ankles) and I got a size small just because I wanted a bit room to layer underneath cause it gets quite cold in Canada! It has shoulder pads which make it seem very structured and old fashion but still very fashionable and one that wont go out of style!

Such a wonderful coat. Between the fabric and the fit it feels like wrapping yourself in a big cozy blanket, without looking that way.

I absolutely love the color, shape, feel, and overall look of this coat. I can wear it with a hoodie and still look put together or dressed up for a night on the town. This coat is so gorgeous I can’t believe it went on sale for 50% off. Snatch this coat up when you can because it’s a dream. Fits true to size but if you have a bigger bust you may want to size up. Goes down to my calf’s and I’m 5’8.

Overall I love the coat, it looks very high-end and classic. However it is slightly a bit long for me (5'2" tall) although I have ordered XXS. The underarm area is also a bit tight for me if I wear thick layers inside.

I purchased it in royal blue and xs. It fits really nice tailoring wise but is longer than I would have liked. I am only 5’2. The collar is also a little wide but overall the coat looks very classy and is very nice quality. It is also nice and warm.

The cut is tailored. The kind of cut I prefer. Hits mid-calf. For reference, I'm 5'5, size XS, the coat measures about 120 cm center back to hem. Perfect length for me.

I usually wear size 6, and small for Gap. But the description said small is for size 4, so I went for a medium. Too bad it was way too big and I cannot refund because it was on sale to 50% off. However I love the cutting and material.

I decided to splurge this year on one of Aritzia’s famous coats and I’m so glad I picked this one! I love the military style and the quality of this coat. It goes well with everything and is really warm too (perfect for Canada). Highly recommend! I got a medium.

I absolutely love my Plaza coat and my other coats from Aritzia. Please don't ever go out of business you have the most beautiful coats in Canada. Stylish and they fit beautifully!! Fits true to size... I wear an extra small fit is perfect in sleeves etc!!

High quality, heavy, classically detailed coat that you will have for years. A must have in your coat game! Size up if you want to layer under or are top heavy.

I’m 5’8 and 54 kg. I ordered a Small. It fits well and is a little bigger than I thought it’d be. It’s very long but looks very elegant and sophisticated. The material is soft and pretty warm. If you want to wear thick sweaters underneath then you have to order a size up as the sleeves can be tight. I could’ve fit a XS but a S fits better for my sweaters. Overall, a great camel coat and I got it on sale too !

Beautiful long coat, I’m about 5’9 wearing a medium and it hits about mid-shin. However, the colour is slightly lighter than what I was expecting.

I was a little nervous when I purchased this coat because I wasn't sure if it would run small. I'm 5'4, around ~135lbs and I ordered a size small. It fit perfectly, I actually have a bit of room for layering. The quality of the coat is amazing, I feel like a bougie inspector gadget in it. 10/10 would recommend!

True to size. I am a Small and 5ft 7 and the small fit me perfectly. I can wear a sweater underneath if needed. Would not recommend sizing up

This coat is beautifully constructed. Amazing fit, and a little flared at the bottom but snug at the waist, arms and shoulders. If you are planning on wearing heavy sweaters underneath, I’d size up. Since I’m 5”0 it went almost to my ankles, but I personally liked that since it’ll keep me warmer in the winter.

Bought this beautiful coat in Navy cuz I have owned a camel coat already. This coat reminds me of Max Mara coats which are usually over $3000! The quality is top notch, material is thick enough for colder winters. The GTA winter has been mild so far, but I've worn this with a chunky sweater dress and knee high boots the other night. It kept me warm enough. Can't believe I got this on sale with the same quality as Max Mara!

Great structured coat! I’m usually a size small, but I sized up to a medium because I wanted to fit chunky knots. I probably didn’t have to size up, I would have been fine with a small. But a medium fits fine too! The only thing I didn’t like is that it’s not 100% wool and cashmere at least now according to the label inside. That’s why it’s her 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise great coat!

A bit tight on the arms when wearing something long sleeved underneath

One of my current coats! FYI I’m 5’5” and it hits just below the midpoint on my shins. Very warm without being bulky, well made, and just a classic staple. Everyone who has seen me in this has complimented. I was deciding between this and the slouch and I’m glad I got this as I prefer a more structured, slightly military vibe.

I've been looking for a camel coat for a long time and I'm so glad I discovered the plaza! It checked off all the boxes for me: high-quality, slim-fit, and great length. It's a little smaller than I wanted (normally a S but sized up to M) but am glad I got it on sale!

I've wanted a smarter, navy blue winter coat for quite some time and I had this one saved in my wishlist since it first released. I wasn't able to try on in-store but when it went on sale for half off I decided to take the risk and ordered it. Couldn't be happier! As mentioned in other reviews, this coat fits true to size with a streamlined fit. I took my normal size. It's quite a structured style and not the best for layering with chunky sweaters (I don't have much room in the sleeves). I'm pretty curvy through the hips and it fits perfectly but with no extra room. Very slimming and flattering cut with the belt detail on the back and long length. Sort of similar to the styles of fitted coats you see the royals wear, rather than the slouchy oversized coats that are really popular right now. A great addition to my coat collection!

I got XS based on the size chart but it looked loose around my waist. Should have ordered XXS. I'm 5'7 and 115 lbs for reference.

I just received this coat today and I am IN LOVE. First, it was delivered on time in a box. Not only that, when I opened it, I see this beautiful paper bag that smells so nice (where can I get this smell?!). Inside is the perfectly folded coat. I pulled out the coat and I was just AMAZED at the cut, fabric, style, and quality. I put it on immediately and it was so flattering. It hits at my calves and makes me look tall and slim. I have it laid out and every time I walk by, I can't help but touch my heart and breathe, "You are gorgeous..."

Okay, I don't have issues (at least not a lot...I think...). Anyways, some logistics: this coat fits true to size. I am 5'4", 111 lbs and the XS shoulders fit just right. If you are going to layer-up, consider sizing up. I think it is warm enough without thick sweaters but I live in California so *shrug*. I would recommend this coat to anyone who wants to wear it for years and feel luxurious while wearing it! :)

I love this coat!! I wanted to get it for a while but I'm really picky about the quality as I've found a lot of Aritzia coats are not that well made or lined. But this one is beautifully made and the details are really elegant, I highly recommend it. I'm 6', got the large and it fits big on me but the shoulders were perfect so if you're in between sizes, take the bigger one as the shoulders are fitted. The waist is a little too big but great for putting a sweater underneath and it still doesn't look too bulky at all. Very long so I wouldn't get this if you're under 5'6 and even then it will be hitting the floor, unless you don't mind paying the cost to hem it. Very warm and definitely works for -20. Super happy with my purchase, if you're thinking of getting it do it! This one is a cop.

It’s a very classy looking coat. Beautifully made. Material is thick. Gives out MaxMara vibes. Makes me look tall (5’3”). I am a US dress size 6. The medium fit was more comfortable in the body but shoulders and sleeves were big. I would have kept the medium size as I have a slightly heavy bust but because the sleeves have a design that could not be shortened, therefore I kept the small. It looks better but I cannot wear a thick sweater under it. I wish the arm hole was an inch bigger on it then it would be perfect for me.

I was in a search for the perfect camel coat and ordered several and returned all of them and finally saw this one on an influencer. And oh my god this is so beautiful!! It instantly make you look so chic and classy! Although I don't think you can wear any sweater inside. It is form fitting, which I like. It doesn't have that much room or may be order a size up if you want that. But for me, I'll keep it this way. So very pleased!!

I love this coat. It is true to size the sleeve length is perfect. I got an xxs in the camel colour and think the coat is a classic that will never go out of style. Somewhat military is style but still very feminine. It is very tailored and makes me look taller. (I'm 5 ft. 104 lbs.) It comes a few inches above my ankle which is fine with me for a winter coat. The workmanship is very professional.
