only turtleneck

I bought this turtleneck in 2022 and it was very high quality. A staple item in my closet that gets lots of wear. Then I purchased two more in the Fall of 2024 and the fabric was so much thinner. I immediately returned them.

This top is so cute and comfrotable. It is a good staple turtleneck to own. I bought this in white and it is a little see-thru but that was to be expected because of the color.

For reference I am 5'8, and my bust and waist measurements are respectively 32 inches and 25 inches (bra size 32B; purchased size XS in color cornflower blue).

The material is very soft, thin and perfect to wear on its own or under a baggy t-shirt. I can easily tuck it in a skirt or pants. The blue color is not see-through. The material is also ribbed very small. The material is very comfortable and not itchy. It feels like a second skin!
Perfect basic!!

Note that I bought an XS as I like my turtlenecks to be more form fitting/tighter.

A good underpinning.

I wear a M and first started wearing this at 155lb, small chested. Post-partum weighing in at 175lb, larger chested, these still fit wonderfully. Gorgeous stretch in the material without losing shape or piling. That said, if you wear them as religiously as I do, plan to replace them once every 2-3 years. These are so flattering, so cozy, and the neck folds without being either too delicate or too clunky. The Wilfred Only is the best choice at Aritzia for base layer turtlenecks. I have several of the Sundays Best, and as a turtleneck connoisseur, I will only (haha) buy the Wilfred Only moving forward. Sundays Best lose shape and stretch out. Trust me, you will not regret this turtleneck. I own it in every color flattering for my skin tone.

I normally wear medium but this fits like an XS. Says it’s a turtleneck but not accurate (it’s a mock turtleneck). Fabric is so thin that you can see through it (do not recommend the light colours). Will be returning.

I bought this turtleneck 3 years ago in black and it is still one of my basic staples in excellent condition. I bought three more recently. While the ribbing is slightly different and the quality a little less, it is still a good turtleneck. I’m not a super colorful person and I love the blue! I went up a size! My usual size small is pretty tight. I wanted a bit more room, so got medium.

The style is really nice, and the fit is great, but the material is terrible. It’s thin, and is already piling and looks like I’ve had it for years after just 2 wears/washes. I wouldn’t buy again, especially at this price point.

Slightly short in length but I am keeping it. Love the colour. I have 3+ different colours. These are great basic pieces that I reach for all winter long.

Have this in many colors. Nice for layering under a blazer or vest. Go up one or two sizes. I’m usually an XS or S but wear M

I like how it looks and love the feel of modal on my skin. Have purchased multiple colours for the colder months and plan on using them as the foundation of many outfits. That said, they pill easily. Wore one to the office and the insides of the sleeves were pulling after just one day of wear. Price point ought to be half of what it is for the quality.

This turtleneck is so soft and fits well. I bought it in the light purple color and I love the fit.

I have been looking for this style and fit of turtleneck for years. I’m glad to finally have found this! I’m 5’8”, 150lbs, and an athletic build. I usually take a small or medium top. Chose a medium and it is fitted without being tight; it also has a lot of stretch.

Size up. Not like the previous Rerib.
Fits larger, or maybe just stretched out.its not retaining its shape. And it’s fuzzy after the first wear.
I have 3 of the previous turtlenecks that are very faded.
But this one will get returned. Very disappointed.

I feel so mislead into buying this item final sale. The website clearly shows it in a pink colour but it came to me as a purple turtleneck!

Cute style and flattering except that the fabric is thin and see through. It’s appropriate for layering but not wearing on it’s own

I love aritzia’s turtlenecks, I have a few of them now. The material is great and there are so many colors to choose from!

This is a new version of the Only Turtleneck, which in about 2020-2021 was made from a structured fabric with stretch. I loved it! Now, it is flimsy fabric with no shape, bags out after one wear, and pills. Waste of money. Aritzia should not have pretended it is the same turtleneck and given it a new name as it's misleading (or better yet, not have made a fast-fashion piece that doesn't hold up). Bring back the old version please!

The fabric of this top is very nice and soft, and the colour is beautiful. wasn’t prepared for how fitted it is. Personally, I would not be comfortable wearing this on its own.

Super Comfortable and Flattering! I have this top in a couple colours and it is one of my winter staples. Highly recommend.

It’s very thin Works under a blazer but it lacks structure. It’s nice and soft though, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is probably a good choice. Personally, I’d like Aritzia to stock the structured ribbed turtleneck all winter. It’s a wardrobe staple.

This turtleneck is not anymore what it used to be a few years back. I bought it in navy and after wearing it only once, I noticed a whole in the front. The material is such a bad quality.

I love this turtleneck. I often forget it's in my closet and am always so pleased when I put it on. It's the perfect length, nice and long and it's fitted but in just the right way. I'm hoping to find the long sleeve non-turtleneck version next.

Fit is very stretchy, flattering. I bought this one in an orange color many years ago and so happy they still have the style, although no longer the color. It lasts forever if you wash with delicates and dry hanging. Keep in mind they are slightly see through. I chose black and the soft green color so I have to wear undergarments accordingly. Im 5ft2 for reference, 34D 27in waist and got an XS

Very poor quality material. Wore the turtleneck less than 5 times and it's full of pills. Not worth your money.

I bought the birch and pandora colors hoping to wear them as stand alone pieces but looking at myself in the bathroom mirror I found both were VERY sheer. For layering it would be okay but my workplace doesn’t want to see what kind of bra I have on that day. I bought the version last year which had different material (not as soft) but at least it’s not see through. Unfortunately it’s going to be returned. Beautiful colors and fit though :(

It wasn’t a good purchase. The fabric is soft but very flimsy. I got it in yellow but it was still see through! It’s very slim fit and very tight not comfortable. I usually wear xs or s from Aritzia, and ordered s.

Form fitting, great for layering ….

I have been searching high and low for a turtleneck that fits me the way I want and I finally found it! Honestly, this fits like a dream. The material is nice and comfortable, just the right thickness to wear alone or layered, and the neck fits just right! I have a long neck and often struggle to find turtlenecks that go high enough and stay up and this one does just that. I really wish I could get this one in other neutral colors! I ordered the gray and it’s a really nice color.

I have purchased so many of these turtlenecks over the course of the last few months, even duplicates in certain colours because I loved them so much and yes, in regards to fit, style and comfort, 10/10 I love them but the quality is so incredibly disappointing, I am beyond careful with my clothes, I take great pride and care of them because I want them to last and not end up in a landfill…with that being said absolutely everything snags these shirts, so don’t bother layering them.. every time I put one on I find a new snags/pull and they have very quickly pilled…everywhere. So incredibly frustrating because not only have I essentially thrown out my money, these tops can no longer be worn as they are visibly damaged. I am so incredibly disappointed! Even more so as a pull in one of these shirts cannot be repaired. Will be looking for light weight ribbed turtle necks elsewhere from now on and reselling my current collection at an incredibly discounted price due to damage.

Form-fitting but not tight. Light weight but opaque.
Works with everything for a polished look. jeans, skirts, and pants.
Washes beautifully. I have 3 colours now. And packs down to nothing
