The dress can be dressed up for more formal occasions and dressed down to be more casual. And it was super comfortable, absolutely love!

This dress is really pretty. I have to get it hemmed since I’m short but other than that fits really well and is flattering even on someone who’s not skinny!

I got this dress because it was on sale and it looked comfortable. I actually purchased it to wear on Christmas. I chose the Navy blue because it looked elegant. I got it in a size M I'm 5'6" and about 145lbs and still have a bit of baby weight after my daughter from 2 years ago. The shipment came pretty quick and the dress fit perfectly. The color was gorgeous and it was very comfortable to run around all day long to prepare for Christmas dinner. My husband said I looked very pretty in it which was a bonus. I would recommend it to anyone for any occasion really.

6 months pregnant and the dress fits perfect. I’m usually a size 6-8 and got the medium and there is still some room for belly growth. Material is on the thinner side and not lined. Super comfy!

Great black dress staple, perfect for dressing up or down. Fits true to size and the length is perfect. With flats on, it hits me lower than the photo grazing my ankle which is preferred over tea length.

I love this dress. I’m thin but don’t have much in the way of curves, so I love dresses that cinch at the waist and this one is so flattering in that regard. It’s also simple enough but elegant enough that I feel like I can dress it up or down. I’m exactly in between an XS and a S in Aritzia’s sizing, and I prefer this dress in a size S. The pearl grey color is beautiful. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Sleeve are more puffy than picture shows (not by a whole lot) it’s a fine dress just a little bit off but can’t really get how

I had been looking at this dress for a while, but was nervous about the ruching in the middle. It is so flattering however! The slit is long, but not indecent. It fits almost floor length on me at 5’6”. Fabric is great.

The way this dress moves when I walk is divine - it swishes and flows. The waist cinches inwards for a form-fitting shape that will show off your figure. The slit is just the right amount of peakaboo. You can dress up or down. Layer over a turtleneck and tights in the winter. The navy blue colour makes me feel regal.

This dress is true to size. I'm 5'4 and 110lbs and the xxs fits me perfectly. It does fall more like a maxi dress on me than a midi dress, it hits just above my ankles. My only complaint about this dress is the quality of the material is really cheap. I'm glad I got it on sale because $148 is way overpriced for a dress made of rayon and viscose. It is a very pretty, multi-purpose dress though and a nice fit. The only thing is that it wrinkles terribly because of the cheap material.

I love this dress. I wore this to my civil wedding in pearl grey (M) and felt elegant. I'm a 5' female and a little heavy on the bust but this dress just fell right on my ankles. I was worried that it will not be a good fit since I am on the chubbier side but the fabric just smoothed everything over. I will purchase another one in a different color as I love it so much.

Not usually a fan of a smocked waist but for this dress I make an exception. The effect is an ultra-flattering curve-hugging fit. The slit is more tasteful than scandalous. The fit is true-to-size. I am a 6/8 and the Medium fits like a dream

If you want a little looser suggest going a size up.

Wore this to a wedding a few weeks ago and loved it! So many compliments on the style and colour. I have a larger chest, and the waist band fit well right underneath the girls. Really defined my waist and the slit is so dreamy! Considering getting it in another colour!

I really like this dress! I have never shipped at aritzia and I was afraid that this dress would be too small. I used the size guide and this dress fit perfectly!

This dress was really nice. I even have a larger bust (32H) cup and it actually fit well. Fit tts I’m usually a pretty true large and I ordered a L and it fit well. I did end up returning it because I was looking for a dress for a wedding and I found another I liked more. It is for taller girls, if I had kept it I’d have to get it hemmed or move the slit up a bit.

Love fabric but will dry clean

This is beautifully flattering and comfortable. Suitable to dress up or down. The fit is great with the elasticated waist.

Just too long so need to hem. Just adds to the cost of the item.

The fabric is pretty easily wrinkled, but not really a big deal. Hugs all the right places and is very versatile.

i was scared that it would be smaller than it says ! but it fits perfectly ! the slit isn’t as high as pictured !

Stunning dress. A great length on me (I am not particularly tall 5'5.) I love the material as well, will be great for summer garden parties.

This dress fits true to size, although I would say that if you have bigger arms or broader shoulders- size up, as the material/cut for the top part is not stretchy. The slit is very nice, high but not too high. I love this dress!

Overall this is a very classic piece. Only issue is that it does wrinkle quite easily. This isn't really an issue with the black but could be an issue if you were to purchase a lighter colour. I would say it fits true to size, the waist is elastic so it is quite forgiving.

The length is longer on me than the model, but that is given for any item of clothing I purchase.
