lawson trench coat

I love this coat so much, I have it in three colors. The fabric is just a dream and it’s great for layering too. I like to wear it under coats in the winter. I wish Aritzia would bring this back!!

Love this coat and beautiful sage green color. Only downside is the material wrinkles easily but nothing a good steam can’t fix.

LOVE, LOVE IT, beautiful trench coat. I wanted a long coat and it's perfect. Sleeves a bit too long, but I fixed it. Came home in a very small box and was very wrinkled, I didn't know how I will fix it, the steamer didn't work so I ironed it inside out and it worked. Very Happy with my purchase!

This is a gorgeous trench. It drapes beautifully and compliments many outfits. The material does wrinkle easily but a quick steam takes care of it. When washing be careful how you stain treat because my darker version got a slight white spot where the dye came out. But overall it is my favourite coat and I now own 2 of them. A spring must have!

I fell in love with the trench coat when I tried it on in the darker green shade. I ended up purchasing the lighter green shade because I wanted something I could wear year-round. It is a great tench coat that fits true to size and is not too light or too heavy. Perfect for any weather!

Love this jacket. The material feels great. It is not to heavy but still warm. It has very deep pockets, which I appreciate so much.

Perfect jacket for fall. It is very soft and drapes nicely. Does not overwhelm my frame despite me being a small person (5ft3, small built and ordered an XXS). I wish it had a belt to close but knew this wasn’t the case going in and love it nonetheless

Extremely happy with the fit and feel and colour of this coat. I’m 5’7, Skinny Athletic build and ordered a large and I love that the length falls past my knees and the sleeves are nice and long! Patiently waiting to wear it out this fall!

Always wanted this coat after seeing it on Meghan Markle. Finally made the purchase when it went on sale. I ordered it online and it came in VERY wrinkled. I’m a typical size S but it was very big on me so I went to the store and exchanged it to an XS and it fit perfectly. I would recommend purchasing it at the store for sizing and so they’re not wrinkled like online purchases.

Great colour and fabric. Wish it was a bit more tailored through the body. It’s cut really wide… I wish it was only sorta wide

Bought the sage green and the colour did not disappoint. Would look so cute in the spring and could probably wear it into the fall. This is such a staple piece I think everyone should have in their Wardrobe

Oversized, not good for short lady, wrinkled clothes

Perfect to throw on over my t-shirt on some days or my sweatshirt on other days. I love this for the spring and I can't wait to see how it does in the fall. It's not structured but when you put it on it can transform a whole outfit. I got an extra small but I don't like my clothes skin tight. I like a fitted look that is also comfortable.

The material is nice, but the jacket had a ton of loose threads along nearly every seam, and the olive colour is much greener than shown in the photo. Definitely not worth the price.

this coat is totally way more expensive than it needs to be, but I absolutely love it! It is the perfect thing to throw on over a basic outfit to jazz it up, or just an extra layer. It drapes really nicely and it doesn’t get super wrinkly. It is slightly oversized - I probably could have sized down one, but I like the drape so it’s also great in my actual size.

I wish this jacket had real pockets oh well, if you’re looking for something to throw over a evening dress this is it!

I like this trench. Have been looking for the right Mild weather trench for a while and I’m glad I found this one. Love the sleeves. They add that extra flair.

So this jacket is perfect for transitional seasons and even chillier summer nights. The fabric is so soft and the jacket has the perfect draped look. The only issue is that this is definitely made for someone taller than 5’3, I am lucky enough to have an amazing seamstress who did a great job with the hem that it basically looks like I just grabbed it off the rack. I would’ve also loved for this to have a belt but I knew it was without when buying.

The fabric is so soft! This trench is perfect, the only thing that is missing is a way to close it (either a belt or a button).
For reference, I am 5ft 1in and bought the XXS. It was a bit long in me but nothing too bad.

I love this jacket it’s so comfortable and cute. It does wrinkle up like other reviewers mentioned. I steamed it once and it was much better after that. It bounces back from the wrinkles pretty quickly. Definitely worth the purchase for the summer for a light jacket for work or a night out

I have many trench coats in various fabrics and colours, but this is definitely one of my favourites. It drapes nicely and is super soft. I bought in the olive green and I love that it's not too light of an olive green. The body fits nicely oversized in the XXS and it fits my arms and shoulders nicely. Goes well with jeans, trousers, dresses and skirts - super easy to wear for work and on a casual day.

Coat fits larger, I exchanged my usually size medium for a small. I could have even gone extra small but I wanted it to be oversized with room for layering, and small still gave me that effect without drowning me. Medium is HUGE. Im 5'0 for reference. Small is long on me, hits mid-low calf. Fabric has a beautiful luxurious drape and the lining is wonderful. I only gave 4 stars because I think for the price they should line it the whole way down. I also don't think it would hurt to have a button or removable tie so that you can close it when its cold out. Overall though I am happy with it. Great to dress up over a sexy short slip dress in summer but can also be work with leggings or jeans casually.

Beautiful drape and flowy fabric! Only fit slightly larger than a true XS, but this leaves room to layer underneath. Only reason I deducted a star was because there was no belt on this jacket which I should haven noticed before ordering and ended up returning for this reason.

I love the button detail of the sleeves on the Lawson Trench. It does run slightly larger, I’m usually a true S but I ordered XS and it fits perfectly with some room for a thin sweater if you want to layer. Classic piece of a time capsule wardrobe! Well made, buttery soft. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I'd been stalking this trench coat ever since I saw it on Meghan Markle and I'm so glad I finally took the plunge. The length hits right at the knee (I'm 5'8") and the flowy cut is nice and flattering. The material isn't very heavy so it's definitely a transitional piece for warmer weather. Price was a bit steep for my liking, but I am still very happy with my purchase.

Sizing depends on what you are looking for. I am 5'4 and 130 lbs and I usually wear a size small. For my first Lawson Trench Coat I got it in an XS and it looked great. It fit well, but I was not able to layer it with a thick sweater for colder weather; I was only able to wear a thin long sleeve or tank top underneath. I decided to buy a small and see if I can layer it, and I was able to, but the sleeves were too long and the coat looked too oversized. Honestly I prefer the look of the XS better.

I saw this on a blogger’s video and loved the look of it so I ordered it. I love coats and jackets because I’m always cold. But I wouldn’t really call this a coat. It’s super thin, and it wrinkles SOOOO easily. I even had to steam it right after I opened the shipping box. It’s kind of like a light layer that looks like it could be a coat because of the design. The material seems kind of cheap because of how easily it wrinkles. I live in San Diego and I probably could only wear this on a fairly warm day or would have to wear it over a super warm sweater. Looks chic but not a practical coat for everyday wear. Color is nice, as pictured.

At first it was very wrinkley but by hanging it up for a few days they all came out on their own! It was a bit of a different fabric than I expected, more of a suede than canvasy like I thought. But very nice!

After reading the reviews I opted for a small instead of a medium and I’m glad I did. Fits comfortably without being too oversized. I can still wear a hoodie maybe not too oversized otherwise it might get too snug in the arms. It. drapes beautifully and the wrinkling doesn’t bother me. It’s is lyocell a nice luxurious material that shows its great quality. Length is perfect hits me just about the calf so I don’t look like I’m drowning in it!

Got the greeny blue one. You can adjust the cuffs if too loose or too tight. Has one fastener below the collar. When you have it tied up and the wind is blowing you look like a jedi on the way to kick butt. So yeah its pretty sick.

Loved this trench so much that I needed to get another one (black). Will most likely buy another one in the Montery colour because I love the fit that much. I can dress it up or dress it down - which is how I usually wear it.

I will be enjoying the Lawson Trench Coat now and for future years because it is a classic. I bought a large size that fits perfectly and the Monterey color is beautiful. The only recommendation I have is that the coat be shipped differently so that it has fewer wrinkles when it arrives. Thank you for producing such a fine coat that encourages me to keep shopping with Aritzia.

got it in a green blue colour and is really pretty, a bit long for a shortie like me but I might get it tailored or just wear it with some heeled booties. Great piece for fall or early spring, the material does wrinkle a lot so bear that in mind.

This coat is really nice, it is soft and comfy to wear. It wrinkles a lot tho. Says dry clean only but I washed mine and it was fine! just did cold light cycle & hung to dry. on sale is such a good deal!!

Nice classic piece with modern cut to update the style. Great for Fall or Spring weather. Can dress up with black pencil skirt to dress down in skinny jeans with white converse. Initially I got my typical size small for coats and jackets from Aritzia. It ended up feeling loose. I went into the store and the sales associate recommended to stay with the size so I can wear chunky knit sweater for chillier weather.

It is extremely comfortable to wear and the light purple color looks great for Spring/ Summer. Very versatile that it could be for work or weekends. The size do run a little bigger, I am usually an XS but had to go down to XXS for this coat.
