harper sweater

Got this on black friday sale but it fits so tight in the neck area. The overall fit is weird - not sure if its because the neck is so tight but everywhere else feels loose. Sad that it can't be returned.

its soft, cute color, dont like how it looks on me, the neck part looks interesting on me.

Tue fit isc true to size and the sweater i material is luxury soft, i have 2 off them.

I loved everything about this sweater until I washed it. It shrunk to half its size, and the material is also completely different and rough after washing. It shouldn’t happen at this price point- and I own other merino wool items that have had no issues.

Love wearing this to work during the colder time of the year.

I love love the length of this sweater (not too cropped, and not too long) It sits perfectly on my lower waist without exposing my belly. However, I find the hem to stretch quickly and get too big and flowy.. I hope Aritzia can adjust the hem smaller in the new batches.

I LOVED this sweater! It was warm, soft and nice against my skin. I know that wool shrinks with water, so I wore undershirts to help keep this sweater clean. Eventually, as all clothing, it started to be affected by body odor. I HAD to wash it. I followed the care label, handwashed, used cold water, wool detergent, ect.
True to size when ordered....not anymore after cleaning it.
....Folks, this sweater shrunk to half its size. Nothing will prevent the shrinking of this garment even after all of the work I put into maintaining it properly. Water is your enemy with Wilfreds whole line of %100 merino wool garments.

I love their whole line of wool garments, but I can't pay premium prices to wear it for a month and end up with a sweater that always gets smaller with every attempt to wash the sweat out of it.

I bought 2 of these sweaters and both shrunk beyond belief. This is despite hand washing cold and laying out to dry. Way to expensive for something that shrunk to basically a small crop top in 1 wash

I loved this sweater, it fit perfect until I washed it as it said. Didn’t put it in the dryer and laid it to dry. Now it is too short and too small in the arms. Pretty disappointed for the price and only was able to wear once. Size up if you’re purchasing it.

This sweater is a staple in my closet. I love how it’s slightly cropped and the fit is perfect. You will want this in multiple colours!

Loved it at first. After the initial wash it shrunk significantly and the feel of the sweater changed too, not as soft. So now I have a child sized itchy sweater. Extremely disappointing.

The wool is so lovely and soft. This sweater is the perfect crop to wear to work. It’s not too short and looks great with Dashwood or Carrot pants

I'm 167cm, 155lbs, size 6US, normally wear S/M, measurements 38-28-38in, inseam 29-30in, bra size 34D.
I took a medium in this, it fits relaxed but not at all baggy, the length hits low-waist (neither cropped nor too long). The quality feels really decent, have worn it for a week now and it doesn't seem at risk of pilling. it's so cozy that I've fallen asleep in this. V impressed, will be buying in other colours.

I tried this sweater on in-store and bought it in-store in an extra small and it fit perfectly. However, I hand-washed it once in cold water and laid it flat to dry and the sweater shrunk... The arms are too short now and it looks misshapen. I normally have no problem with any of my Aritizia knits, but this is truly disappointing considering the price. I followed the wash instructions exactly and I'm annoyed that there isn't better care instructions...

Super soft, cozy and comfortable. I ended up getting another colour in it. One of my favourite sweaters. Love the high neck for those cold chilly days!

I bought this in Heather Birch, wore once, received loads of compliments and the minute I took it off tonnes of pilling and fuzzies all over but inside and on the outside. A lovely item but I do not see this having any lasting power. Save your money and buy something else because the pilling was basically immediate. Not impressed at all.

So cozy and soft but thin enough that you can tuck into slacks. Perfect for fall! Might get another one in a different color

Bought two of these, and they both fit perfectly out of the box. I followed instructions and washed mine in cold water, on the wool setting, laid them flat to dry and even gave them both a good stretch when wet to ensure they didn't shrink but... now I have two sweaters that are lovely but a size too small. Size up and then some if you want to wear them after a wash. So disappointed as these are super expensive.... :(

Took a leap of faith on this sweater bc worst care I could return it but I won’t be doing that! Wore it yesterday and got so many compliments. I’ve broken put into hives recently and wore this over and was not bothered or itchy thank god!

This was my go to for fall, I loved the look and fit!
It was amazing until I washed it. It shrunk and lost its shape. Now it’s too short and sticks out at the back. It looks ridiculous.
I’m just upset spending so much on a sweater I wore for 1 season.

I bought 2 different colors of this sweater. Their neck collar shape, size and overall density of the cloth are slightly different from each other.
2XS size hits my belly button. My usual size is 0-2 for reference.
I wish it was more cropped & denser.

I love the neckline on this but the cropped fit was a little weird. Ended up returning it

Ordered the Bubble Pink colour in my regular size and love it! The colour is exactly as pictured and the sweater is so soft, warm and not at all itchy!

The sweater is lovely, soft, warm and comfortable. I was in love with it when I first wore it however, I was disappointed after I washed. I followed the instruction as I was very careful not to ruined it but the sweater shrunk.

I didn’t want it very cropped so I sized up and it fits wonderfully. Very warm and easy to style.

This sweater looked great on and fit wonderfully when I first purchased. I followed the instructions on the care-tag and it after hand washing (it was really more of a damp and spot wash then a hand wash) and the sweater completely shrunk to a size that did not fit even my 2 year old niece.
This wouldn’t be the first time I’ve had issues with garments made from this fabric. I’ve purchased many number of clothes from other brands that use this material and never had a problem, but the instant Aritzia

Love the colour, fit, and the feel of the sweater so much! Mock neck is very comfortable yet very warm and slight loose sleeves are trendy. It is a cropped sweater but just about right length for me. I purchased my usual size S and wish it was slightly fitting, but it’s perfect as is.

I normally don’t like wearing turtleneck or mock neck sweaters because I find them uncomfortable. This, however, is the most comfortable sweater I’ve ever owned. The merino wool is so soft and breathable. I also love the cropped fit of this sweater - it has the elongating effect without being too short. Would buy again!

I LOVE this sweater! I'm super short (5'1") so it's hard for me to find sweaters in the perfect length but this one is it! Very soft and comfy too. Seriously though, as some other reviewers say, follow the instructions and DON'T PUT IT IN THE WASHER OR DRYER. I washed mine on the coldest cold in the machine and air dried it and it still shrunk so much :( I had to buy another.

I got this sweater for my girlfriend because she absolutely loves this sweater. It’s her 3rd one!
Only because her other 2 sweaters I put it in the dryer (don’t do that)

Literally goes with anything. Slightly cropped so it pairs well with high rise pants. As someone with a short torso it is ideal length. I loved it so much I have multiple colours!!

I tried to size up for length because i have a long torso and it was way too wide and boxy unfortunately.

Very nice quality, runs a little bit on the smaller side. More cropped than I had anticipated.

This sweater is super cute and warm, however it began to get little knit balls after one wear. I can tell that this sweater won't last very long and am disappointed. The Wilfred Rebecca sweater is really good and I will be investing in that one next time.

Fits perfectly (not too loose, not too cropped).

I’ve worn this sweater almost every day since Christmas Eve & so far it seems great. I am worried about future pilling but so far it still looks great. Even my husband complimented this sweater. I’m 5’4” & 115lbs and went with 2XS. It hits right at top of my jeans but will show midriff if I lift my arms. I initially bought the Rebecca but returned it as it’s way too cropped.

This is the second Harper Sweater I’ve ordered. Good basic colors and fits well.

I loved this sweater paired with high waisted jeans. I washed the sweater according to the label and the material completely shrunk up and overall shape was destroyed. Unfortunate to happen to such an expensive sweater. Buyer beware!

Fits amazing and I love the length.

I went with a medium as that is my usual size in tops at Aritzia. It’s sort of cropped but nothing high waisted pants can’t hide. Very soft fabric, not itchy. Might be susceptible to pulls if you aren’t careful. I’m 5’5/132 for reference.

It's a baggy, cropped style but works well with Melina pants which are high waisted. The sweater sheds quickly and I keep having tiny wool pills. I guess we have to take good care of these sweaters but I love it since it is warm during winter days.

I think it is totally worth getting this sweater! It is very soft and is not too thin or too thick and will keep you warm. The sleeves are on the baggy side (I have to roll up my sleeves because of my short arms) so I would not size up but that is how its supposed to fit. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would buy again.

I bought this sweater recently and I really loved it at first. Great colour, warm and fit perfect. Then I hand washed it...and it shrunk. I was careful of course and normally my other sweaters like this one don't shrink. I washed it gently by hand with light soap and I hung it on a rack to dry. Now it barely covers me, is itchy and looks uneven. I'm annoyed that I've spent $100 on this just to wear it two times.

This sweater is very comfortable, thick, and warm, it's not itchy. I just wish it was longer to be able to wear at work.
I'm 5'2" 120 lbs, usually s or 4-6. I went with a small.

It's a thinner knit that some of the other sweaters that have the fisherman rib knit, so a bit less warm, but the neck is so cozy! It's quite cropped and must be worn with the appropriate high waisted bottoms. Sleeves are baggier in comparison to the body. I would keep it just for the cozy warm neck band.
