generation blazer

I haven't worn this yet - it just arrived last week but love the colour, style, cut and details
bought an XS based on description. It varies but generally would be a small (5'7", 130 lbs)

I have it in 3 colours. Its super flaterring. Perfect for dressing and down. Love the cut, fabric and versatility!

I got a medium and it is SO huge

Although the fit is a little “ boxy”, I ordered the generation Jack in three colour’s because it’s such a good fit and the fabric and tailoring 🧵 looks very rich. I just wish Aritzia would make a slimmer leg pant to match because wide legs are not always flattering regardless of the trend.

Perfect well rounded blazer

Love this blazer! I can range from 10-14 or M-XL at aritzia and a medium was perfect. Not too big, not too small. I actually preferred this blazer over the agency blazer and find i’m not swimming in it. Only con is that it’s expensive but I got it during the sale so super worth it!!

Perfect oversized (but not too big) fit! I got it true to size to get the slightly oversized look. If you want it true to size you can easily just size down one size.

Why do all of Aritzias blazers have shoulder pads right now? It doesn't look good! This jacket was so bulky and unflattering - immediate return

I sized down two sizes to keep the oversized fit under control a bit and because I bought this intending it to be in my closet for years and wanted more of a classic/slightly oversized look. I love the quality. I actually bought two more colours on top of this one. Only negative is that two of my blazers came with a strong chemically like smell. I aired them outside and that helped but it was definitely strong enough to overtake my closet before that.

Beautiful, slightly oversized fit. Just what I was looking for. I had also ordered the Vogue blazer which was ridiculously oversized. This one is perfect.

The blazer is a nice colour but the material is thick and uncomfortable.

This blazer is perfectly oversized without overwhelming a smaller frame. I ordered my usual Aritzia size of XXS and it fits beautifully. Very high quality too.

Probably the best oversized blazer that isn’t too overwhelming for a petite girl. The shoulders fit just right and it’s more of a loose fit which I prefer making it a more timeless piece.

I’m a size 12. Sometimes 14 on top as I’m muscular. Medium fits for a regular look. L would have worked for an oversized look. Love Crepette. Hangs so well.

I bought this blazer 3 times in black. First I ordered small (usually am a medium) cus everyone said “size down, it’s huge”. Small was huge. Okay. Next I exchanged for XS. This time i noticed it came with 2 buttons in the front. Interesting.. I like the 2 buttons over 1. Because I wanted to be absolutely sure this was the perfect fit, I order XXS. This one came with 1 button and….. different material?!? Completely different material. One was smoother than the other, more formal looking, less wrinkle prone, less flowy. XS read “100% polyester” and XXS “61% recycled polyester, 26% viscose…” etc. dude. These are 2 different blazers and not just for the size . What is going on

I absolutely love this blazer because the fit is a happy medium between a traditional blazer and an over sized fit. It looks professional whereas some other Aritzia blazers (which I also love) I find to fit a bit “too oversized” where I don’t feel as comfortable wearing them to work. This one is perfect and I got it in the H Peppercorn grey which is versatile and can go with so many different outfits. I wish they made that colour in more skirt and pants options so I could have it work as a pant suit situation but I wear it with the Alayna pants and it’s a great work-wear favourite of mine. Professional and fitted in the right places yet oversized just enough to keep things professional and keep me feeling confident and on trend at work. Perfect happy medium. I am an XS and I ordered an XS and find it fits true to size. I am 5”5 and pretty narrow across the shoulders and worried it might be too wide but again, it fits great.

Even slightly larger i was still comfortable and it looked great

As a petite person, I didn't think I would find an oversized blazer that looked good on me, but this one fits the bill! Not too long and not too oversized (when sized down from my regular size). I do think I should've picked a darker colour for myself however. I got the Heather oat beige and it's a bit too close to my skin colour, but I still love it.

I tried to purchase this blazer FOUR TIMES. Each one I received had a new damage: Whether it was one sleeve longer than the other, or one side wider than the other, or the overall seaming bubbling so it wouldn’t lay flat, or the lining was so uneven with the main body, etc. I purchased and returned this blazer with every one of those defects, four times over. I can’t believe the QA issues with this item.

My go to suit!! Size down one for a more professional look. Have been recommending this blazer to all my friends.

You need this blazer in your closet. It fits a bit oversized, but it’s the perfect amount of oversize for business casual and casual. I got this in heather turner taupe and have gotten many compliments on this blazer.

I love this blazer and had been searching for quite a while for a straight-cut, slightly oversized blazer without the front darts. I'm 5'8", 150 lbs and quite fit (I wouldn't say an "athletic" body type, though) with very long legs/short torso - generally I wear a 6 or 8 and tried both the medium and the small. The medium fit was great - oversized, boxy, very cool. I ended up keeping the small, though, because it overall fit better through the shoulder seams, arm length, and overall proportions while maintaining that straight cut, oversized look. I bought it along with two pairs of pants (the Babaton Pleated and the New Command in the same color) for maximum versatility and longevity.

Material feels very nice, soft to the touch and looks structured, lining and pockets and all other details are almost perfect. Fit is androgynous, comfortable, and modern without being too oversized—except at the sleeves. Very long sleeves! They hit my knuckles, so the final effect is really not as polished as I need, unless I spend extra money and time altering the sleeves and moving the buttons. Maybe this is part of the cool-factor, but I need this for my work outfit, so the sleeves might be a deal-breaker. Wish they made a petite fit option.

Beautiful blazer! Ordered an xs, I'm usually an xs or small in Aritzia tops. I am getting the sleeves shortened but I usually have to do that with blazers since I am 5'2". More fitted than other Aritzia blazers which I find are more oversized so this if perfect for office wear.

This is a gorgeous classic navy blazer. Very well made. Perfect color. Nice fit. May run a little on the large size. I wear small/medium. The small is perfect.

Beatifuuul blazer. Ordered S (5'4'' 120lbs) has just a tiny bit of give so it's not a "fitter" blazer but has more of a boxy/contemporary look. Matched this to the command pants for a good business power suit (they balance out the silhouette nicely). The total eclipse is a beautiful timeless navy.

It's less oversized than the Flores but still a bit boxy and oversized cut. I got the Heather Turner Taupe in S and the Effortless pant, and I love it. The colour is really fresh and classic. Really beautiful. I'm still getting used to oversized blazer cuts but I think it's a really nice shape.
