I always size up for anything silk. Got one size larger and fits perfect. matte pearl is sheer but I wear a silk camisole inside so I don't mind. matte pearl is a neutral greyish beige colour that goes with everything. so light and slowy, perfect for the summer

5'5" 120lbs Size 2XS
I'm a professional couture designer/seamstress. I never miss an oportunity to shop for a classic silk blouse. I've sewn with silk for 35+ years. This is absolutely the best silk crepe blouse I have ever bought. And I'm not exaggerting that I've spent 5X more for something not as well designed and constructed.
Fabic is excellent. Fit isexcellent. Hidden button placket. Length just long enought to cover my bum. Shoulder seams on, not below or too tight. Can wear with all styles of pants and skirts, tucked in or left out. I machine wash mine with Woolite and Downy in the rinse. Dry on low. Hang. Steam collar into shape, and I'm done.
I estimate it would take me 5 hrs to construct this blouse from yardage. And that means I've saved (myself) about $200.00. I'm glad I bought them when more colors were available. And I hope the powers that be decide to provide more color choices in the future. I'll be looking for them!
