dexter linen pant

I love the Dexter cut, I want more pairs! They are amazing colour and material - so comfy, but yes, a REGULAR size doesn't work well with my height.

I also wish the cinching on the ankle was tighter. If there was a petite version I think I would buy that one, just because I have to hike up the pant high to even achieve my preferred ratio of leg to ankle that is showing. If I wear it comfortably just above my hips, the length basically hits me at my ankle and it looks strange with flat shoes.

Perfect for the office, brunch with friends, an evening out...dress it up with a blouse, down with a t-shirt. You can't go wrong! I usually wear small, but ordered a size down because linen sometimes loosens with wear, and I was looking for a snug fit.

They are my go to pant for the summer. I only have purchased linen material. They wrinkle very easily, but personally i like it linen that way. Highly recommend them. They fit slightly larger, so i would size down.

I’m 4’10” and got these in an XXS like my crepe Dexter pants. They have a similar mid-high rise fit and an ankle crop length. I do find that the linen ones stretch out a tiny bit over the course of the day, but it only causes them to fit as a mid-rise pant instead of sitting at my waist. I don’t find the legs to bag out noticeably, but I’m sure there’s a little give. Overall I’d say these have a slightly looser fit than the crepe dexter pants, but I wouldn’t recommend sizing down in them unless your usual size has a looser fit. The linen is a nice weight that makes them comfortable when it’s warm and humid so I’ll definitely pick up another pair if they make more colors this summer.

I bought these for my Bali trip as every day pants, but after I wore them for the first time (in Canada), they got super baggy. I am a Medium, so I couldn't buy a smaller size, the Medium fit me perfectly but after the first wear it got super baggy and very wrinkly. Went back to the store but they couldn't do anything because it was on "sale"...

Then I took them to my trip, and wore them (twice), but they collect piling on my back from my backpack + between my thighs. Very disappointing for pants that are well over $140.

The Dexter pant fits true to size and is very comfortable! I have a front load washing machine and use the cold gentle cycle to wash them. Then I hang the pants to dry, a touch of the iron and ready to wear. Perfect. Thanks Aritzia for an other wonderful product.

Love the dexter pants but you have to size down on the linen because they stretch out a lot after wearing fur an hour or two.

These pants made my butt look weird and flat. Also the legs were too baggy. Returned.

Extremely comfortable and flattering when worn. Hits at the perfect length above the ankle.

Pants stretched immediately after I wore them for the first time. They don’t stay up and I’m continuely pulling them up around my waist. Quite unhappy as I am always a small and wouldn’t have thought to order smaller. They were tight at the beginning so I wouldn’t have fit an xs.
