column sweater

My cheaper sweaters holds up better than this one!! It PILLS like crazy to the point of shedding/embarrassment. Not to mention how much it has shrunk after only washing it (according to instructions) like twice. Lots of things on aritzia are worth the money, EXCEPT this one.

I ordered this sweater in a small, I’m 5’8” and typically an XS or small if I want something to fit a bit looser. This sweater came cropped and fitted, the sleeves are tight and don’t even reach my wrists. I have pretty long arms but even then, they are not balloon sleeve and way too short on the arms.

I bought 2 of these in different colours because I really liked the way it looked and the material felt nice. However, after wearing it for 2 hours it already had pilling on the sleeves. It pills like crazy and sheds onto my pants whenever I wear it.

It also shrunk a little bit after washing a few times so I’m glad I got mine a little bit bigger than normal.

This fit amazing and was super cute until I washed it on delicate with cold water only ONCE and hanged to dry.. complete waste of money since it shrunk and is too small now. Really disappointed especially since I just purchased the brown color last week too. Not knowing it was going to shrink

Itchy material and hard to wear

Love the fit. Not itchy and feels high quality. Slight pilling but easily dealt with with a shaver.

I got an S. After one wash it shrunk to an XXS maybe, and pills like crazy!! A complete waste of money!

bought a size small in this. I love the colour so much but the fit is a little disappointing. the sleeves are nice but the length is too short. it sits awkward at the waist. washed this once in delicate with cold water and it shrunk to kids size! I’m so bummed because I love the sweater so much. such a shame that $50 is gone. not worth the purchase, especially if you’re gonna buy it at full price!

I'm a sucker for bubble/lantern sleeves. I should have bought this sweater in other colors before it sold out because it's that good. So far there hasn't been any pilling and I love the way it drapes! I feel like I could have sized down to an xxs but the xs is a good length and the cinch sits okay. I like rolling the hem up once when I'm wearing high waisted bottoms so it gives me a good cropped look without showing the tummy.

I have a shorter torso, so this sweater fits perfectly while not making my proportions off. I love the colour and the sleeves add some interest.

As someone who prefers fitted clothing over oversized clothing, I really liked the fit of this sweater and ended up ordering one in the light gray and one in the gold camel. I'm petite (5'2" and 95lbs) and have a short torso (approx 16"); the xxs fits me perfectly with high-rise pants. The sleeves are a good length too and I don't have to cuff or roll them up. As other reviewers have stated, if you have a longer torso, this will definitely will look cropped on you. One last note, the gold camel color is less vibrant in person than online and is more of a muted brown than gold. Overall, I'm glad I splurged on these and plan to wear them both casually and for work!

I’m 5’3” and 104 and this sweater is very flattering and comfortable to wear! Looks classy and easy to style.

I really love this shirt. The sleeves are so pretty and flattering. The only point you should know before purchasing that I didn't know when I purchased is that you need to wear high waisted pants with it, otherwise, your belly will show. It goes to right around your belly button (torso length dependent). It is super flattering though, and makes you look like you have a really skinny waist (i.e. gives a nice shape if you're into that).

This looked so elegant on the model, but when I tried it on, it was really short and waist looked weird on me. If you are petite and have a short torso, this knight not work for you. The material was also not as nice as I expected. I returned this item.

Really like the collar line and sleeves. Only drawback is that the sweater is a bit shorter than what I like. Overall, though, the sweater is classy and works well with either a skirt or pants.

I love it and have no regrets! It's got a great cut and fits well. The quality is also what you would expect of Aritzia

I just got this sweater in the Heather light grey. It's a beautiful, light sweater. Love the colour. I love the balloon sleeves and it fits great. Depending on the look, I am usually between a S or M and the S was perfect (for reference I am 34" bust and 29" waist). The S wasn't tight but also not too loose it was a perfect fit. I took a star off, because when I first got this delivered, it was already starting to pill. It seems like the fabric will pill easily. If this concerns you, I wouldn't recommend. If not, its a great staple piece for your wardrobe

Great style and fabric, true to size. I live in Florida and like sweaters that are not too heavy and are more fitted.

Lovely! Sometimes I can wear a petite Xs , but the petite small was perfect. Even though I’m 5’6” I have a short torso. So I prefer petite tops and dresses I weigh 114 lbs. I love the way the neckline lays. So flattering.

I love the color of the sweater and it’s a little crop for me it might have been better if size up a size. When I tried it on it did have a slight itch to my arms probably if you wear a long sleeve inside that won’t happen.

This sweater is a bit cropped, and the description doesn’t state that. It’s definitely above the waist band. Beautiful color and nice fabric.

I was unsure how I'd like this but I love it! It is tighter around the waist but that allows you to play with the length which I enjoy. I'm 5"8, 135 lbs, 36-28-38 and a small fits great. The fabric is light but soft, perfect for early fall or layering.

I bought this in the cream colour and as soon as it arrived and i tried it on i immediately jumped back on here and purchased the black colour. I'm so sad the speckled grey one is sold out in a medium because this sweater is just so beautiful. It is definitely true to size/slightly smaller so ensure to take your true size. The neckline is a slight boat which shows off the collarbones, the sleeves are beautiful and have the perfect amount of volume and the sweater somehow shows your shape while also camouflaging a tummy pooch. All in all a WIN and is just such a lovely sweater which can be used for various occasions.

I love the length of the sweater, it sits just under/on my belly button. I find most tops nowadays are either too cropped or too long.

I love this sweater! It's not itchy at all. It's super flattering - especially if you have a shorter torso! I love how it fits a bit shorter so there's no fabric to tuck in. The sleeves aren't too dramatic and the neckline is divine. I want it in every colour !

Bought the lavender colour in XXS. I was scared i’d look chunky with tentacles-like arms but I find the design so sophisticated. The sleeves are made slightly flowy and the body is well fitted. You’ll look like a bougie enchantress. The fabric is light, soft and seems warm.

Really soft - warm, without being super thick. Sleeves are really cute - crop is perfect and hits at the waist for me. That said I have a short torso and arms... I'm just short.

When I tell you this is the cutest sweater I have ever seen, I mean it. I will buy multiples of this. Perfectly cropped. (Also totally my fault but if you ruin it in the washer it still looks good.)

Loved this sweater so much I bought a 2nd! Originally got the lavender color online and when my local boutique reopened, I bought the grey as well! I love the length as it’s not too long and baggy or short/cropped. Material is not itchy which is also a plus!
