carey cropped tank

This version of the shirt is not as comfortable or as durable as the previous version of this shirt, which was one of my favorite basics from Aritzia.

Fits well, can go with anything, good basic to have, feels like good quality

I got this top a few years ago and I have loved it. Wore it tons both at home and out and about. Just a solid small tank so I thought I would restock in different colours. Totally disappointed. Material was changed to a cheaper, thinner material. White was totally see through. Fit was tighter despite being the same size. Returned.

Love this tank top and have it in multiple colors now. It’s a great length and comfortable fabric.

Please bring back the original tank back. Bought as back up to realize it’s not the same tank . The newer version keeps rolling up and is skin tight :(

Absolutely LOVE this shirt. Perfect length. Flattering. Love the casual look and soft cotton feel. Washes great. Will be ordering a few more because it’s my new favourite tank!

I LOVED the original carey tank, the one that was 100% cotton. It fit so well and wasn't too hugging. Perfect go-to tank. Now its hugging and doesn;t work with as many things. PLEASE bring the old one back.

This tank is so cute! It’s comfy, and the slightly square neckline it has is really flattering. This is the first tank I’ve found anywhere that doesn’t dig into my broad shoulders!

Good quality but slightly see through. Fits exactly how it should though.

Soft and cute, holds its shape well even after wearing it. Minimal roll up on the hem which is nice. Pairs well alone with jeans, or high wasted shorts.

I loved how this fit and the material was nice but it was very see through. You can still see a clear outline of your bra when wearing a nude or white bra. I understand white tops are typically see through but I have white tanks that are from less expensive brands and are less see through. Coming from a more expensive and good quality brand I expect more

I had bought the Carey tank in both black and grey about a year back and they are my go to tank. They look good with everything! So I bought it again in birch and unfortunately for me I ripped the tags off before trying it on—because I thought I knew it so well—but to my disdain they must have changed it because this one was quite tight fitting but stretchy, and very thin. Not the casual loosely but cutsie fitting tank I had grown to love. Why did you do this aritzia? I cry

As a previous reviewer mentioned, these tanks used to be 100% cotton. Now they cling and ride up as they are 6% spandex. Such a bummer as they were so versatile before and could be worn w/o a bra (if you’re smaller chested like myself). The new version is thinner, shorter, and looks much cheaper. Even the label name changed from “Sunday Best” to “Sundah”

I'm a size medium and bought a medium. This is a perfectly fine basic white tank and it fit fine, but I ended up returning it because I bought the TNA Life sports tank and it was closer to what I was looking for. The fabric has a ton of stretch, so it even covered me as a woman wearing a 32F bra. With that said, I did foresee that I'd be adjusting the shirt frequently. It's super light (meaning it's see-through if you aren't wearing a bra). Noting that the hem is raw if that's not your thing.

I love this, I actually own the old version that was 100% cotton and I like this one better! The old one stretches out quickly throughout the day until its washed again, but this one has a bit of elastase to help it keep its shape! These wash super beautifully and last forever, I literally live in this tank. I now own 8! I always size up because I prefer it to not be super tight and it looks amazing (closer to how it does on the model) im normally an xs and I buy a small!

I want every color! The fit is perfect, it’s not tight but not loose and it hits right at my waist (I’m 5’6) so it’s not TOO cropped. It hits right where my high waisted shorts are and shows a little bit of skin if I move around. The material is soft but thicker than the Sunday best honor tank.

Word of warning - there are two versions of this crop top, both named "Carey cropped tank" and they fit very differently.

I originally bought the "Carey cropped tank" that is described as "cropped, ribbed Pima cotton tank" and loved it. It was quite cropped but looser fitting and more casual. I went back to buy the same one again but accidentally bought this "Carey cropped tank" (described as "scoop neck tank" - note they are both ribbed cotton and are scoop necks). I unfortunately took the tags off before I tried it on because I assumed it was the same shirt (same name, same material, etc.).

I personally like this one a lot less - I'm usually an xs or small in Aritzia shirts depending on the fit. I'm 5'5 and 135 lbs but very small on top. The S in this is VERY small - skin tight and super cropped. Might be fine if this is what you're aiming for but it's nothing like the fit of the other one. It's too bad because the colour is beautiful (I got the lilac-y purple).

This tank is not super cropped and has a raw bottom. It's lightweight and good as a layering piece and I feel I could even work out in it. It's a bit cheaper than other aritzia tanks but it's still great quality so I'll definitely be buying more! (I sized up one size and it fits well)
