More refined than effortless - great length for tall women. I am 5’9 and I can wear them with 3 inch heels. I am usually between a 6 and 8 and 6 fit well, slim through hips and wider on thighs. The effortless 6 feels tighter in waist. I have larger hips and smaller waist.

These are so flattering. I got in the copper color and they are gorgeous pants; however, they're long for a regular inseam (32"). I'm 5'5" and even with heels they were longer than I'd like. Also $128 for 100% polyester feels a little steep to me... I was thankful I got them on sale. I am 128 lbs. typically a size 2 in other stores; I got the 4 as that was the recommended size. They are just a tad big in the waist but I think a 2 would've been unforgiving in the crotch...

These pants are perfect, I have bigger thighs and always have trouble finding pants that flatter my body, these are amazing and fit perfectly! Will be buying in other colours for sure

Very nice pants! Very light and breathable. Tighter in the butt and Thighs than the effortless for a bit more shape. I have both and love!

Love these pants! The fabric is flowy and the high cinched waist fits so well. My only suggestion is to add belt loop holes as an option. Other than that, perfection!

L-O-V-E my pants simplicity at its finest. Classy to dress up or down with sneakers 😉 I tried an 8 and 10 in the store, I needed a 9. I ordered both online and the 10 fit better then the 10 in the store. My moto.. Always try 2 of the same size on.. they are not exact!

Love the pants. Very well tailored, quality fabric and great fit. However, the "tall" are not long enough. Usually I wear size 4, but these run a bit large, so 2 was just perfect.

These fit perfectly! Love that the back has elastic. Bought them in "short" and they're a perfect length.

I own the Alayna pants in black 00 love them. I ordered the peppercorn grey colour in the same size/length, and just received them this morning. They have obviously been hemmed by a previous purchaser, as the hem stitching is white (not grey to match the pants) and they are 5-6 inches shorter than my black pair (both are supposedly regular length)!! I cannot continue to buy from Aritzia with their awful customer service and drastically declining quality and quality control. So disappointing.

Light material, keeps its shape, and figure flattering. They are a bit tighter in the waist than other dress pants but my regular size still worked.
I love them!! Would definitely buy another pair, they are great for work and going out.

I usually wear a 12/14. I ordered a 16 per comments. They fit like a glove! Love them. I ordered the Short, as I’m 5’3”. Perfect length; can wear with flats or smaller heel and still look great.
Had to select that I bought and usually wear a 12 as no option for larger.

Due to the extra stretch on the waist sizing down creates the perfect fit . If you have a fuller figure the Alayna pant is a great alternative to the effortless pant!

Pretty disappointed only because the measurements provided on website were waaayyy off so they do not fit in the waist but is non returnable. At least have the measurements online be accurate if an item cannot be returned. Or at least offer exchanges. Super sad and worried about purchasing any other pants from here :(

I am 5'4", but this pants is too long for me. I love the fit though.

These pants are so much better than the effortless. They have a SUPER comfortable elastic back, elegant material & fit super nicely. I’m 5’6” and got the short version as I wanted to wear them with sneakers. Keep in mind these are a floor length pant & meant to be worn with heels so probably not best for anyone under 5’6”. Overall I recommend these to all my friends, they are just so so comfortable & classy. I’ve never splurged on nice pants before but I don’t think I’ll ever buy a different pair. For reference i’m 5’6, 120lbs, straight hips & got a size 0 short (I’m usually a 0-2). If you’re in between sizes, size down! (Elastic back makes sizing easier!)

They are the perfect fit for those of us with a smaller waist and bigger butt! So flattering! I usually have to get a size 4 so that pants fit my waist, but then they are tight in the thighs. These fit perfectly in the 6.

The color is superbe. Comfy and soft.

Beautiful pant! I get so many compliments. However, I have 2 pairs that are both the same size but different colours and the brownish gold pair are much longer. Had to get them hemmed.

These pants are great. They are super comfortable, breathable, with a nice stretch. The color is really nice. These are very versatile and can be dressed up or down. I wear them for work, holidays, and out.

The fabric does not look high quality whatsoever. The black color is also not deep which gives it more of a worn out look.
Overall would not recommend especially with the price tag.

I love the fabric and the style and how beautiful it looks having it on. Most pants out there don't fit me right since I'm not tall. But this one fits perfectly in every way.

I thought I would try these pants because they are the same fit as the Effortless pants only without the pleats ( pleats aren't the most flattering on me given my larger bum) and I was VERY happy with the fit. They are very flattering and are a great staple piece for work.

Originally bought these in 2021 and fell in love, but when they changed them to add different lengths the fit changed as well. They fit tighter in the thigh area. Think a size up would maybe work, but then I would need to get them altered for length. Sad they’ve changed!!

These pants have a beautiful drape, don't wrinkle and wash easily. The fabric is lovely. I would size up as I feel that the inner button is very cinched on the waist. If you are short like me (5'2) you'll have to take them up a good 3 to 4 inches as they are quite long.

Amazing tailored quality. No bulky/puffy/sticks out on the front waist section like usual high rise. Very impressed!!

This is a great pant style. I typically buy the tapered leg styles like the conan pant and this is the first wide leg pant from Aritzia that I've found super flattering. This new crepette material is also my favourite pant material that they've ever come out with! It's light but durable, doesn't wrinkle, and is machine washable. My only critique is that I wish the thighs were a little more fitted, and that's coming from someone with larger thighs.

Super disappointed in these. They’re so cheap looking person. I cannot believe the price of these pants for the quality they’re delivering. Not even quality fabric and the had a scrunchy on the back waist instead of it being tailored? Do better- these are a flop.

I purchased a pair in black in spring 2022. They're amazing, I adore them. Flattering and great quality. Went back in fall 2022 to buy a second pair in a different colour and could barely get the same size over my hips...

I am 5’2. I got the short length and they work for a heel or my platform sneakers. So flattering and comfortable.
I want every colour!!! I hope there are as many options for the short and there are for regular length soon.

I wish the quality was better. Aritizia pants used to be great but the quality just isn't worth the price for these. While I like the fit they started pilling right away and the hem at the bottom came undone within a few wears. The thread used for this material is not appropriate whatsoever, they were trying to cut costs. Wouldn't recommend.

High rise and TTS. Nothing special. They were too long and they felt cheaper than the usual Aritzia quality. I returned them

I tried the effortless and they were too long for me. The Alanya pants are a perfect fit!

Since there’s elastic waistband in the back the waist fit better than the effortless, it is more flattering. I was between sizes with the effortless this pants solved that problem. I got the tall and pants are the perfect length.

I was hoping to find an alternative to the effortless pant, which was sold out in the colour I wanted. This pant is saggy in the area just below the waistline however

Absolutely loveeee these pants, I have them in two colours now. They fit really well and I like that they have an elastic scrunch to the back of the pants.

The pants hit perfectly at my height (no hemming required) and are not as wide as the effortless pants which is good for a petite frame. The material is a lot more weighted and heavier than the effortless pants, which is more wearable for the winter seasons.

They’re more comfy than the effortless pant because of the elastic band. However the vis gris colour is see through.

I LOOOVE these pants. I own them in black and these are my go-to’s. I’d recommend them over the effortless any day. I wanted to get them in light birch but they were see through EVEN WITH nude underwear!! So sad but thought you should know before buying this in lighter colours
