I wish they offered a shorter version. The material is thick, but the fit just doesn’t work for me. If they had a shorter option, I think I’d like them more. I ended up returning them and purchasing the Wilfred Limitless Pant Crepette instead, which I prefer for the fit, though the material is the same as regular trousers.
This was my first Aritzia purchase, so I was nervous about ordering pants online, but I read reviews and the size chart and these fit perfectly!
I'm almost 5'9 and ~130 lbs. I usually wear a size 2 or 27 in pants, sometimes needing a long length depending on the brand.
These look tailored to me, the high waist is flattering, and the pant leg is on trend without being too wide to be practical. I love these pants for work -- elegant and flattering. Get them!
I own 4 pairs of these dress pants. I am 5‘9“ with long legs, so I went for the tall version & they’re perfect! I find these to be a more flattering style over the Effortless pants. I feel like I am drowning in the Effortless, with all the front pleats. The Agency pant has a nice slimmer front fit. These are 1/2 lined (down to the knee), which makes them hang very nicely on the body. I also like that they do not wrinkle. I get many compliments on these pants. Definitely recommend!
These pants fit and feel like a dream and the material is very luxe for the price point. Unfortunately I had to return it due to an issue with sizing and it was sold out in my correct size. Please bring back the tall because this is the only tall pants in the city wool fabric.
I absolutely love the Agency pant. I find this is better than the effortless pant I have these in the crepette, the city wool and now in the re essential fabric. The re essential fabric feels like the city wool but is cheaper and is now my go to pant. I just wish the reg length was slightly or have more color options in the Tall. Never great color options in Tall. ARTIZIA GET MORE COLORS IN TALL.
I like the gray color and look of these pants. It is very confusing why they would put a polyester lining to about knee length inside of these pants? Not breathable at all. I might keep and cut it out but need to hem as well so I’m not sure.
These are great pants in a wonderful fabric, but for sure take a little trying to find the right fit. The city wool is consistently 2” longer than the REssential. I also got two in the same size and the legs were definitely wider/longer on one pair. Ultimately I sized down for a more wide-leg and less slouchy fit. Recommend, but give it a few fits.
I purchased my recommended size of 2 based on the size chart and was swallowed by these pants. On top of being too large, the lining that hits at the knees is awkward and uncomfortable, and the zipper did not feel smooth.
I don’t know why anyone would choose the polyester equivalent of the Agency Pant when there is a 100% wool version. This pant drapes beautifully , looks expensive and feels expensive. I ordered a size 2 in short (TTS) and it is the perfect fit (5’3, 100lbs). I’ll be wearing this almost year round with exception to hot summer days and evenings. Ditch the polyester, get the real deal.
Great color, comfortable, & decent material, but not sure if it was worth the price. A lot of Aritzia's pieces are starting to feel like marked-up fast-fashion to me. For what I paid, I expected the material to be of higher quality.
Wool pants with a lining at a half decent price....hard to come by these days. Its a half lining, made of poly (I'd prefer a full lining in something more breathable, but still.) Fit is ok. I think Aritzia designs for a curvier figure than mine (I have a 6 inch difference between waist and hip size) so the size that fits my waist is a little looser on the hips than I'd prefer. The zipper feels a little industrial. They do have pockets. Mine were stitched shut when I got them, but to those lamenting a seam where a pocket should be... I promise you will find a pocket if you snip that seam.
The material feels nice, however, the thread by the zipper was coming undone when I got them. I got the short length (I’m almost 5’2, with a 27-28 inch inseam) and they were just too short. They looked great on my butt & I wish they fit better!
Purchased the matte pearl pair after purchasing and loving the Agency in the short inseam in black. The sizing is so off. A 00 in the short fits me perfectly while the regular 00 is much smaller. You can feel the decline in the quality because the matte pearl pair is much thinner than my previous pair. Also the lining job inside is such a half ass job because it barely covers your knees and the zipper sewing isn’t even straight. Very disappointing
These are my WORKHORSE pants and I want them in every color. Will be re-lining mine.
I recommend these pants to everyone. They are the perfect straight-leg work pant, entirely timeless, and good for casual classic styling. I wear them like people wear jeans—they look really dressy the way they've been styled on the models here, but I wear them with everything: tank tops, t-shirts, vintage and modern sweaters, etc.
People worry about the wool, but this is by far the best fabric the Agency Pant comes in for performance. Wool Twill is super resilient, gets softer over time, does not pill, wicks sweat, and does not ever bag out. I have worn these in 90º weather in Paris and in -10º in Chicago. Wool is magic.
The one thing I would change is the vegan chamois lining. Although it's perfect that the pants are only half-lined for summer wear, I don't like synthetic lining and will be re-lining mine in silk.
I'm glad I waited for the tall size to come back in stock. I'm 5'10 with 34 inseam and tall is just long enough. These are my favourite dress pants, I like the straight leg vs the wide leg. The material is a bit thicker and they hold their shape. Not much give/stretch. Size accordingly
I waited for these to be restocked in a tall size and was so excited to order them when they were and they fit perfectly! But after only 2 wears (no washes) there is a hole about 3 cm big in one of the side seams. I haven't even washed these. Great pants, but $175 pants should not get holes this quickly.
The material isn’t very soft, I purchased in dark heather grey. It also is dry clean only. I will probably end up purchasing either the pleated or effortless pant in re essential in the same color as the material is softer, machine washable and has pockets.
These are different than the Agency pants I purchased 4 weeks ago!
I had read reviews about the inconsistency in the Aritzia pants. I received my second pair of Agency Pants (short) today. The first pair have hand pockets and are a perfect length for me when wearing a boot (I am 5 feet 1). This second pair I received today is at least 2 inches longer and will have to be hemmed. Also, there are no hand pockets. I looks as though there is a seam where they should be but it is closed tight. Anyone else had this issue? I will be returning these pants (and I will bring the ones I bought last month) to show the in store staff the QC problems and hopefully the next pair I receive will be like the first pair!
Loved these pants when I tried them on. For curvier people these were much more flattering than any of the styles with a front pleat. However now that I’ve realized that they are dry clean only, they have become my least practical pants…
Long time Agency pant stalker, first time buyer. First impression: extremely impressed.
The quality is outstanding, some of the best work pants I can find regarding construction and stitching. The design is extremely flattering, fitting at the waist and tapering out seamlessly. For someone with a curvy shape, finding work pants that don’t squeeze my butt/thighs can be difficult. These are perfect.
The length is perfect and I love that they’re lined. The material feels high quality. I’m excited to buy more. They’re more than I would typically spend, but the quality is worth it.
I usually wear size 12-14 (L-XL) bottoms. I am pear shaped. The sizing recommendation suggested I buy a size 14. Knowing aritizia is tiny and has no consistency in their sizing I purchased a 16. The 16 was tiny! I probably would have needed a 18-20 which is ridiculous. The pants and zipper also feel flimsy, like pants you would buy at garage. They are not straight cut they are boot cut. Let’s do better aritzia. The review does not let me select anything over a 12.
These are your normal, human, classic pants. What a find! They sit well, they are good cut, long enough to make sense in winter. Just as all pants should.
I love the shape and fit of these. I ordered the regular length because petite was sold out and then got them hemmed. However, the quality just doesn't compare to my other aritzia pants! The material is thin and the lining feels cheap. It's disappointing for $170. I'm a loyal supporter of aritzia pants and it feels like the prices keep rising and the quality is dropping.
I have an hourglass figure, typically a 6 pant but had to size up to an 8. Bought black and Brett, they fall nice and flatter a small waist big hip and thighs. Ecstatic about this classic pant and that Aritzia offers various styles for various body shapes. At 5’7” they are perfect with a 2” heel for work
I was doubting it at first and when I received it, I gasped. I sized up 1 size since everyone says it runs small but also my size was out of stock so I took the risk. And it fits like a glove. The material is so good and thick. Best pants. Wish they would release more colors.
I like the fit a lot but I had to have them hemmed. I’m 5’2 and in the crepe material did not come in a short length. They wrinkle fast while wearing but overall I enjoy them and would repurchase
I sized up based on the feedback and the pants were still too small. Also the short length was still inches too long. Unfortunately these had to go back.
I bought the agency paint a little over 6 months ago. They have already started to pill and the hem has come undone. I have been very happy with my Aritzia purchases in the past but was really disappointed with these. They had started to pill after the first few uses and the hem has come undone recently. I have only ever gotten them dry cleaned and take good care of them so was very disappointed in the quality. For a sustainable clothing brand, the quality was lacking.
I bought the long version thinking they would be as long at the effortless tall, I was wrong. I will have to get them tailored. They are a really nice, thick material and well-fitted
Absolutely timeless and versatile! Bought three of colors, black-olive green-chrome all in size 00. However, both the waist and length for each color in the same size are very different. Length: Olive green>black>chrome Waist: Olive green=black <chrome
my waist is 62cm, hip 88cm, and I'm about 5.35 tall
The seams were not to Aritzia normal standards. The seams gathered alot of the fabric pulling the crotch area, so it couldn't close. I wanted these pants for quite some time, so when ONE came back in stock I should've known something was wrong. Needless to say I had to return. I hope they come back in stock.
