The original fit of these is tighter than normal. I’m usually a size 0 but got the 2 and they are snug. To make matters worse, I washed on cold and these came out completely shrunk and are no longer wearable. Didn’t realize these are dry clean only. They should make those instructions super clear and noticeable on the item - I wouldn’t have purchased if I’d realized this at the beginning. Disappointed.

I took my recommended size, 2, which typically fits a bit large at times (I’m a 0/2 at Aritzia), and these were still so small but in the strangest areas. Aritzia’s sizing and quality of construction has been extremely inconsistent lately. I can fit two fingers between myself and the waistband (it’s loose), but the hips are soooo tight. I don’t have disproportionate hips to my waist, they’re average. The tightness of the hips also causes these to ride up, creating a very uncomfortable fit while sitting. Would not want to spend a day wearing these. Unfortunately I’m not able to return as I removed the tags. These looked fine on me and while not ideal, fit decently enough when I first tried them on. The poor construction only became apparent on my first wear. Fit is also not very flattering as the hips are tight, but the pockets are looser and jut out, creating a very square silhouette to the hips. I think the model is wearing a larger size than she actually is, and the waist is clipped in the back.
