Our Communities

We’re truly passionate about effecting long-term change in the communities where we live and work.

Aritzia is committed to supporting organizations that help women and girls succeed at work and in life.

We’re truly passionate about effecting long-term change in the communities where we live and work.

To date, we have contributed more than $16 million in product donations, financial support and volunteer hours to non-profits and community partners that share our values. This has positively impacted more than 155,000 women.

Our Community Partners:
Good 360

Good360 – a global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving – has a mission to transform lives by helping families and communities find hope, dignity and a sense of renewed possibility during challenging life circumstances.

Our partnership with Good360 supports us in expanding our reach and delivering product donations to women in Canada and the USA.

Shoebox Project

The Shoebox Project collects and distributes gift-filled shoeboxes to women impacted by homelessness in communities across Canada and the USA. Each thoughtfully created and decorated shoebox is filled with items that enhance self-esteem and reduce feelings of isolation for women in need.

Aritzia supports The Shoebox Project through financial sponsorship and employee shoebox drives.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a support network and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life.

Aritzia supports Dress for Success Vancouver with both product donations and financial contributions. Our leaders also provide guidance and mentorship to the organization.

Cause We Care Foundation

Founded by women to help women, the Cause We Care Foundation strives to provide assistance to disadvantaged single mothers and their children.

In addition to donating product to the CWCF and our Cause We Care t-shirt collaboration – where all proceeds went directly to the organization – the Aritzia team regularly volunteers at fundraising events. As well, in 2014, we launched the Full of Heart social media initiative, making a donation to Cause We Care for each photo tagged #FullofHeart on Instagram.

The Minerva Foundation

The Minerva Foundation is focused on changing the face of leadership in British Columbia by helping women and girls reach their full potential.

For several years, Aritzia has sponsored the Minerva Foundation’s Learning to LeadTM weekend for Grade 11 girls by providing executive speakers, mentors and financial sponsorship.

Union Gospel Mission

The Union Gospel Mission works to overcome poverty, homelessness and addiction — one life at a time.

Aritzia donates product directly to women in need who participate in UGM programs. In addition, we support the Sew to Earn Program, which offers meaningful training and work opportunities to women with employment barriers. We previously supported UGM’s Teen Girl Program, which teaches life skills to girls in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Throughout the year, the Aritzia team regularly volunteers to serve meals at the UGM.

The Good Soup Truck

The Good Soup Truck is a mobile soup kitchen providing comfort and hunger relief to single parents, children and others in need.

Aritzia is directly supporting families in need by sponsoring a night of dinner service from The Good Soup Truck each week, providing both financial support and volunteers to serve meals.

The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs

The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs energizes, educates, mentors and connects women entrepreneurs in an effort to promote strengthened economies and thriving communities.

Aritzia supports FWE through executive mentorship and financial sponsorship.

As a diversified non-profit organization, YWCA Metro Vancouver provides holistic, integrated programs and services that help women to lift their families out of poverty.

Aritzia is honoured to be recognized as a YWCA Vancouver Leadership Circle member in recognition of our regular support of their High School Mentorship and other programs.
