1.  Even post-Olympics, this raglan tee featuring an Aboriginal-inspired print will still be as comfy as it is cool.

2.  We think this Retro Track Jacket featuring the emblem of the 1980 Olympic Summer Games in Russia will be highly coveted when the 2014 Winter Olympics comes around in, you guessed it, Russia.

3.  Who knew that the view of Whistler could be just as stunning screened on a parka as it is in person?!  Ok, maybe its not quite the same but this parka pulls it off as much as a piece of clothing could hope for and that's saying a lot.

4.  A warm toque, mittens and scarf are winter must-haves now and always.  The chilly weather hasn't quite left us yet so stay stylish in this black set very subtly decorated with patches of vintage icons.

5.  We love this duffel.  We love the colour, we love the patches, we love the fabric.  We love everything about it.  Period.

The Park Life for Aritzia sale (20-50% off selected merchandise) is on now.

Olympic fever is just as much about all the sporting events as it is about all the awesome parties being thrown around town.  There's no rest for the wicked so in order for us to get any beauty shut-eye at all we've enlisted the help of blogging fashionista Niki B: A Haute Mess to assist us in covering the galas galore leading up to and during the Games.

So far, she's hit up the FMA launch, the Chivas Lounge Pre-Games event and the Caten twins' DSquared2 party, which was reportedly attended by celebrities such as Nelly Furtado, Usher and more.  We've heard whisperings that superstars Jude Law and David Beckham were partying it up in Vancouver but, if the two of them intended to fly under the radar, they certainly did a good job of it because it doesn't seem like anyone actually saw them.

Anyway, here's a photographic recap of Niki B's evening escapades for your perusing pleasure.

The Aritzia Yeti - our official mascot for Vancouver 2010  - has touched down in Vancouver and he is ready to party it up!  If you happen to see a gigantic, furry white creature prowling the streets, all-accessing it at hip events or boogie-ing to the beats at a concert, you needn't be afraid because he's friendly!  And, he comes bearing gifts!

Throughout the Olympics, The Aritzia Yeti will be on the lookout for stylish girls all around Vancouver to award with a little something special.  We can't tell you what yet (we do our fair share of teasing, don't we?) but make sure you put your best style foot forward each time you step out of the house just in case you happen to run into him.  If he likes what he sees, you'll win a prize and your photograph will be featured right here on this blog.

It's time to start planning your Olympic wardrobe.  Let the Fashion Games begin!

'Twas a night of dance, song and laughter through the old church halls of The Chapel on the eastside. Its purpose - to celebrate a new wave of emerging talent from Vancouver's art scene. The ongoing events of HERE IS NOW showcase a series of "pop up" exhibitions, exploring the relationship of time and space in an unconventional environment. Basically, a good way to check out some awesome work, in a beautiful space - oh, did we mention drinks, dancing and music until after midnight? Check out http://hereisnow.ca for more upcoming shows.

It was an incredible honour when we were selected to design and produce the official costumes to be worn by medal bearers and athlete escorts at the upcoming Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.  Our design team drew on their impressive pool of creative prowess and technical skill to create three different costumes that are not only chic, functional and impeccably made but also reflective of Vancouver's West Coast heritage in way that is distinctly modern.

We've been waiting with bated breath for this day to come so that we can finally show you what our design team have created (we're pretty sure the design director lost sleep many times making sure everything is *just* right).  Their efforts have clearly paid off because we're in love with the results.

1.  The Heritage Sweater - This piece will be worn by medal and flower bearers at indoor ceremonies.  Each piece was individually hand knit based on the techniques derived from our First Nations artisans.  Every piece is unique and based on a colour palette inspired by the sky, forest and ocean.  The belts were hand-tooled and embossed with First Nations artwork.

2.  The Cocoon Parka - To be worn by medal and flower bearers in outdoor ceremonies, this warm, enveloping parka was designed with a sculptural silhouette that hugs every curve.  The coat is accented with a web scarf inspired by a cobweb interlaced with leaves and foliage.

3.  The Vintage Ski Coat - Athlete escorts at both indoor and outdoor ceremonies will don this tailored piece inspired by vintage ski coats.  Each coat is hand flocked with the art of the medals created by a renowned Canadian First Nations artist.

Our officially licensed Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games collection, Park Life for Aritzia, flew off shelves the first time around and we heard gasps of despair from those of you who thought you'd missed out.  Fear not as you will have another chance to snag a piece (or two or three) from this exclusive line of apparel and accessories in time for the opening of the 2010 games.  The collection will arrive back in stores for an encore performance at the end of this week.

On your mark, get set, go!

We may have had to delay our shoot (our model, Veranika, had a previous engagement scheduled with a little publication you may have heard of called Italian Vogue) and we may have been left without power for five hours but our ever-professional team including photographer Evaan Kheraj (www.evaankheraj.com) held down the fort and pulled it together.  The result ... well, you're just going to have to wait for that.  Are we being a tease?  Maybe just a little.  For now, we can give you a peek behind the scenes of the Spring 2010 photoshoot for Wilfred at Hycroft.  The stunning Edwardian heritage mansion provided the perfect backdrop to a shoot that we're very proud of and very excited to share with you.

The 2010 Olympic calendar may be chockfull of athletic events but that doesn't mean you won't have the chance to get your groove on.  The official events schedule has been released and some fortunate folk in the Vancouver and Whistler area will get the chance to take in the musical stylings of artistes such as Feist, Estelle, and The Roots, who, as the house band of the Jimmy Fallon show, are thankfully not caught up in the whole late-night tv debacle raging now (you know what we're talking about).  We'd be sad if the Olympics was the last time in a while we'd be able to get our fix of them.  For the full schedule and complete list of acts, go here.
