Shift to Spring: Picks of The Sale

FEBRUARY 1, 2010 BY cancansoo IN Raw Style

Have you ever walked into a sale and become so overwhelmed by all that's available that you've just turned around and walked out?  Sale time is the best opportunity to pick up non-seasonal items for a steal that can easily be carried over into the next season.  So, don't let the abundance of options intimidate you.  We're here to help with a few classic choices from our fall/winter collections that will be just as cool come spring and won't leave you looking passé.

Our Picks of The Sale - Clockwise from top left:

1.  This silk chiffon sleeveless blouse would look so ethereally pretty paired with skinny jeans or denim cut-offs (sigh, we can't wait until warm weather returns).  Daring girls can go for a nude bra under but a flesh-tone camisole is a safe bet for those of us who like to leave a little more to the imagination.  Blouse by Wilfred.

2.  We're sure you're looking at this cropped oxford shirt and thinking "how in the world would I wear something like this?".  You'd be surprised how easy-to-wear a piece like this is.  With all the great high-waisted bottoms out there, a little number like this can be a pretty awesome way to show off your curves with only the slightest glimmer of skin.  Cropped oxford shirt by Talula.

3.  We love floral prints.  Period.  This pair of drawstring pants with elasticated hems are made with a super soft cotton fabric very subtly dotted with some flowery goodness.  Worn with a simple tank, these look so good and are so comfortable we never want to take them off.  Pants by Wilfred.

4.  An oversized boyfriend blazer has a permanent place in the wardrobe of some of the most stylish ladies out there.  It's always a good idea to take advantage of sales to stock up on classic pieces that you can wear over and over again.  This piece is available in a range of different colours and fabrics too.  Boyfriend blazer by Wilfred.

5.  We love this slinky (but not clingy!) dress in a beautiful hunter green.  It's a great piece for both day or night and the subtle cut-outs in the back are a unique detail.  The best part?  It has pockets!  We don't know about you but we love anything with pockets.  Dress by Wilfred.

6.  Ok, we're not suggesting you wear a parka in the spring.  We added this to the group because our parkas are always one of our most popular items and what better time to snag one than when it's on sale?  You know that this piece will be just as stylish and just as functional once next winter hits.  Knee-length parka by Wilfred.

*Please keep in mind that because we're on sale a lot of our items go quickly.  If you like anything seen here, visit an Aritzia location close to you to check on availability.

When will all the spring/summer clothing start to come in to stores?

The spring collections have already started to arrive but by late February most items will be in stores. We have new merchandise arriving every week.

I didn't even know you guys were on sale until a few days ago when I stepped into a store. When did it start and how long will it go to? Also, when's the next sale? Thanks!!

Yup - it's been sale season...but we're approaching the end. We don't have a definitive end date because it all depends on how quickly merchandise runs out. That's why our best advice is to get to a location as quickly as you can to ensure you get your hands on the piece you want!

Heyy how much is the blazer now!? i love it!

We don't want to make  promises we can't keep - so it's really best to visit an Aritzia locaiton near you to confirm they indeed have the Wilfred boyfriend blazer in your size and the price. If you aren't near a location, call any store, they will still confirm that they have it available in your size and the price.
